I have been taking Writer’s Workshop Online Course by Hay House. Recently they added English subtitle in each video. It was an unexpected nice surprise for me. It is very helpful for me to understand the each author in the video clips.
As for movies and television shows, I subscribe Netflix. They too have subtitles available. Some of the shows even have Japanese voice and subtitle, which is amazingly helpful for me.
And my favorite talk show TED talk also has subtitle in a variety of languages available. I really appreciate for the volunteer people who have translated for us.
So far, I have met many people from many different counties who are bilinguals or even more language speakers. I admire them for their efforts. In order to learn and master different language, we have to understand their culture and the way of thinking as well.
I have been interested in language and that is why I have a master’s degree in linguistics. Language is a living creature. It keeps on evolving, and to me, it is very fascinating.
