Went to ER for eye sight blockage 12/12/2020

It ended up to be a long day. My day started as normal. I went for a walk with my family and prepared breakfast for my family (I skip breakfast as usual). At 10 a.m., we went to see the local Christmas parade. It was entertaining. The parade line started with four horses with girls who were all nicely decorated with Christmas costume. We had a fun time with our neighbor friends for greeting each other and picking up the candies thrown to the audience on the street.

Then we went to the car dealer to pick up my car. On our way, we stopped by at the puppy store. We had an opportunity to play with a Golden retriever male puppy. He was so adorable.

After we picked up my car from the dealer, we came back home. It was already past 4 p.m.

At 5:30 p.m., I attended the workshop: Om and aura class. The instructor was one of my favorite ones. We started off a fun chatting. Once the class started, my daughter knocked the door. It was weird. My husband and daughter are always supportive for my mediumship classes, so that they never bothered me during the classes. I opened the door and found my daughter was crying.

She told me that her eye vision got some type of black filter and blocked the vision. It happened all of a sudden and the black filter never disappeared.

I started crying too. My dad lost his eye visions from the diabetes complications. He told me it started from seeing the same symptom as my daughter just mentioned.

We decided to take her to the ER. After we made some phone calls, we ended up talking with the emergency nurse advice team. They created a chart for my daughter and recommended to go to the ER within one hour.

It was 7:30 p.m. when we arrived at the ER lobby. We wrote down lots of information in the several pages of documents, waited for a couple of hours until the nurse called us into the emergency room. The doctor could not check the hemoglobin A1C in the ER, but checked the glucose level. It was within the normal range. They also checked the urine sample. With the two tests, the doctor confirmed my daughter is not diabetic. He diagnosed today’s eye vision blocs was caused by migraine with aura. He explained this includes flashing lights, blind spots, and other vision problems. The doctor prescribed four pills to calm her headache; Benadryl 25mg, Ibuprofen 400mg. Compazine 5mg, and Metoclopramide 10mg. 30 minutes after she took these pills, my daughter started feeling better. The doctor released her. We left the ER after 11: 30 p.m. and came back home after midnight.

It was a tiring day. I will search around the best and natural way for my daughter to treat migraine with aura.
