These three days were extremely hot. There were lots of rain clouds in the sky and we had mist-like sprinkles from time to time, but they were not enough for our garden plans.
Today is Tanabata Festival which is one of the Japanese traditional events. Tanabata is based on a love story about Orihime and Hikoboshi. People write their wishes on colorful paper strips and hang them on bamboo branches. I don’t have a bamboo at our house so I wrote down some wishes on my diary.
