It is the first day of Obon. I greeted to my late parents in spirit. I cannot welcome them in the traditional physical way, but I know they understand and forgive me about that. I hope they will enjoy their homecoming visit for these three days.

I took my daughter for her dental cleaning appointment. She has been taking care of her teeth very well and thoroughly. Her dental hygienist was amazed at the great condition of my daughter’s teeth and praised her about it.

I harvested a lot of cowhorn peppers from our backyard garden. It was our first year to grow this pepper. It has been growing very well and healthily. Most of peppers are very spicy and tasty.

I went to the dental cleaning appointment. Last time I had my teeth cleaned by a professional was in July 2025, so it has been 13 months passed. In the night at 10 pm, I attended the second-year 8th spiritual class. The class ended around 2:30 a.m. Today’s class was fun to attend, because the teacher was much nicer than usual. Especially, during the Q and A sessions, the teacher responded to each question with love, which is kind of rare for her.

In the evening, my husband and I worked on cleaning the backyard. We trimmed some tree branches and removed the weeds in the garden. After that, in the evening, I suffered from the back pain. We decided not to have the vegetable garden next year for us to rest.
