These past few weeks we had enjoyed the sunny and hot days. As always however, the spring weather changes frequently. After we had a heavy rain last night, the temperature dropped down this morning. I needed to pull out a heavy winter jacket from back of the closet. I enjoyed playing around with my white breath in the cold outside. I like the clean cold air because it makes me feel refreshed.

I try to buy produces from organic section even though they cost twice or three times more than the normal ones. Especially organic fruits cost much more than the ordinal ones, but I believe it worth to pay more for our body. Today I found a bug in a strawberry when I cut it into two pieces. Amazingly the bug was still active and vigorously eating the strawberry. Even though it was not comfortable to see a bug, the bug was the evidence that our food was safe to eat.

I spent 6 hours sitting in front of computer, attended the zoom class.

At 8 a.m., I attended the regular meeting of the insurance agent team. It was a helpful meeting as always. The team leader shared lots of helpful information and knowledge with us. From 9.a.m. to 2 p.m., for 5 hours, I attended the license exam cram course. There were about 250 attendees. I was hoping the instructor would take a small break in every hour, but he kept on talking for 2 hours and 30 minutes straight. The instructor explained all the chapters with some questions and answers. It was helpful, but I was so exhausted that I could not focus myself for listening to the instructor toward the end. I appreciate the instructor for his constant effort on teaching us. Thank you.

In our backyard, in front of the cinder block fence in-between our next door’s house, there are three trees. When we moved in this house in 2014, there were no trees there. We didn’t plant the trees. We never water the trees. They naturally sprouted and grew by themselves. They grew big and tall quickly, probably within one year or so. The three trees have lots of green leaves and give the wide area of shape. We like these trees. Thanks to them, there are natural blinds from our next door’s tenant. We were not planning to cut the trees.

However, we discovered something. When we thoroughly cleaned up the backyard a couple of weeks ago, we found the roots of the three trees are becoming so thick and big that they broke out to the ground through the tiles. We were afraid that the roots might destroy the fence and damage something in the next door.  So, reluctantly, we decided to cut our three trees. We didn’t want to, but we had to.

During the process, my husband used the electric chainsaw and I picked up the cut branches and brought them to other area of the backyard. There were a couple of times for both of us to get injured by the sharp branches, but we were protected somehow. We both felt it was my late dad-in-law for protecting us from any possible injuries. We appreciate him. He used to love any outside works. I knew he was with us enjoying working with us.  

For these past several days, I had been struggling to send the tuition to Homeopathy school in Japan. They ask me to send money to their Japanese bank account. If I use a normal US bank to send money to a Japanese bank account, the fee is pretty high of around $70. The fee gets expensive because I have to pay even their recipient fee on Japanese side. I wish they could just let the abroad students to pay online through a credit card. I asked the school about it, but they replied to me that they cannot accept the credit card payment. Then one memory came back to me. Around 10 years ago, this school was attacked by the major newspaper company and created many bad reviews and complains. Even the major credit company announced all their customers that they windrowed any business with this school/company. I don’t know if this credit company still keeps their new policy or not. I guess this school went through a huge traumatic experience from the credit company and maybe that is why they still don’t want to have any businesses with credit card companies.

I found one company called Wise to transfer fund internationally with the reasonable fee. Compared with the normal fee of $70, this company charged only $15. That being said, I had a tough time to proceed the process. Their system has some types of system errors that they don’t allow customers to proceed in transferring money if they use the recipient that is already saved in the system. I needed to log in their online chat, waited for 20-30 minutes for the representative to show up. After the first representative could not solve the issue, I was transferred to other representative where I needed to explain my issue from the beginning. You know how stressful these processes are. Anyhow, I finally could talk to the right representative and he helped me to solve the issue. It took three days for the Japanese school to confirm the fund in their bank account. I am glad that I finally finished paying the tuition. My new course: Family Homeopath course will start from this June and continue for one year. I am excited about this new learning.

Arizona’s powerful sun is back. Starting from yesterday it is hot and I needed to keep the ceiling fan on all day. We requested the realtor to send somebody to switch from heater to cooler.

My family and I encountered a horned lizard during our walk. It reminded us of my late dad-in-law. He would love them and whenever he found them, he would hold it onto his chest and greet them as “Grandpa.” I wonder how my dad-in-law is doing out there in the Spirit world. I bet he is super busy helping many people just like as he did while he was here on the planet Earth. We always appreciate you and love you, dad. Enjoy whatever you do in Sprit World.

We received the tax return refund from IRS. This year they took more days than the previous years but I am happy to have our money back. As for Navajo stimulus check, we are still waiting for it to arrive. We heard the reason why it is being late. Last time when the check was sent out, the local banks got overwhelmed by many Navajo people to cash out the check so that the local banks asked the tribe not to send it out at the same time. My mom-in-law already received it two weeks ago. We are hoping the check to arrive anytime soon.

In the evening at 5 p.m., I attended the online Reiki gathering. There were 43 attendees tonight.

At the beginning of the gathering we all sent our prayer and distant Reiki for the people who are involved in the war. We hope things would get back to peace as soon as possible.

At the latter half of the gathering, we celebrated the 100^th Reiki anniversary. Our Reiki teacher shared the brief history of Reiki.

The originator Mr. Mikao Usui was born August 15^th in 1865. In this time Japan was still in Edo Era when Shogun was dealing with the political issues. Two years after his birth Japan went through one of the biggest transitions; Taisei Hokan, that was a political incident when Shogun returned the sovereignty to the Emperor Meiji. At the age of his 57 in March of 1922, he was provided Reiki healing ability from Universe. It was 100 years ago from this month and this year; March 2022. At that time, the age of 57 considered as very old as the people would live up to around the age of 50. Even though his old age, Usui Sensei vigorously shared and taught Reiki to as many people as he could meet. With his kind intention, we still have his Reiki principles. I appreciate Usui Sensei for his contribution.  

I talked with my friend over the phone. She lives in the east coast but loves Arizona. She is now visiting Sedona and phoenix, and we were planning to meet each other somewhere in Tucson this week. Since I am still in the recovering stage from flu, I asked her to cancel this time. She was fine with it and we decided to meet each other in Sedona next month. She is coordinating the Reiki class tour in Sedona next month. We still don’t know if our Reiki teacher can make it or not without getting vaccinated. If he can make it, I will definitely be there to see him again. I personally feel that our Reiki teacher won’t make it to Sedona next month and they should reschedule to this October. But the coordinator worries about the price raise. The hotel manager already announced her that the price will be doubled in October. Due to the gas price spiking up, the cost of transportation including airplanes and cars will be raised too. Not to forget about the current inflation of 7 %, all the prices of foods and items will be raised too. Still, my friend and I both agree that we cannot force anything. all we can do is to stay calm and wait-and-see the best timing to come.

I spent many hours in studying the insurance agent license test. At 8 am, I attended the regular meeting of insurance agent team. After that, I attended the cram boot camp for 5 hours from 9 am to 2 p.m. I spent 6hours in the zoom meeting.

In the evening I did some yard work with the help of my family. We are getting ready for this year’s vegetable garden. I will expand the area to 4 times as wide as last year.

Today is our 14^th year marriage anniversary. My husband and I married on March 12^th 2008. I cannot believe we have already shared our life of 13 years as married. I appreciate my family every day for being my family and having a life with me. My husband and daughter have improved my life in an uplifting way.

Today’s dream: when I rinsed my mouth, one of the upper tooth came out. It was a rotten by cavity. I felt relieved because I didn’t need the rotten tooth with cavity. In reality I don’t have such teeth with cavity.
