In the afternoon, my daughter and I attended the check-in meeting with her school teacher. The teacher showed told us the test results of the benchmark tests. They had the test three times, before the school year, the middle, and after the school year. My daughter showed the great improvement in math. She also showed the improvement in reading, but this was originally good and not so much improvement. Based on the improvement in math, she has learned better in homeschooling than in the public school. She will learn in homeschooling in the next school year.

I am hoping two years from now; in 2023, when everything will get back to normal, she will return to the actual school so that she can interact new friends and possibly a good boyfriend to date with. That being said, I know it is beyond my wish. I know she will naturally attract the right people around her.

We were informed today that Covid-19 vaccines are now available for youth of 12 years old and up. My Japanese friends envy us of our situation as the vaccines are only available only for old people and medical staff in Japan. They decided a new rule. Once you have the Covid-19 vaccinated, you can start attending the public activities without wearing a facial mask. I was sad about this news. I still like people wearing a facial mask in public for everybody’s safety as the vaccines are still in the trial and error stage. I don’t fully trust the vaccines yet.  

My family decided not to take any vaccines at this moment. I hope the government will keep honoring the individual’s decisions, instead of forcing everybody to take it.

In the afternoon my family and I watched the movie Sioux City (1994). I watched this movie many times in my younger years. In those days I would fantasize the slimier story like I was an adopted child and my biological parents are Native American. My fantasy was not far from reality. I was spiritually adopted by my Navajo parents and now they are my in-laws in the real world.

My daughter likes the current homeschooling, so we decided to enroll the upcoming school year at the same school. A couple of days ago, I finished the enrolment process. Today I received a notice with the comment saying our enrolment application was not approved due to the missing immunization shots.

I was aware of that. My daughter’s doctor kept on suggesting to take two shots which are recommended to take at the age of 11 and 12. However, now that I have studied intensely about immunization shots and its awful side effects that the government will never shares with people, I am reluctant to have my daughter to take the two shots right away. At least I wanted to wait until the last moment. If the school or the government sets the requirement limit of 12 years old, I want to wait until the last moment of 12 years old and 11 months. I talked with her homeroom teacher and she recommended to talk to the Enrollment Specialist.

The Enrollment Specialist quickly solved my concern. She told me that the state accepts three waivers; personal beliefs, religious beliefs, and medical issues. I signed the document of Personal Beliefs Exemption Form to waive the two shots. I am glad that our state and the school are both flexible for immunization requirements.

Back on May 4^th, I sent an assorted gift box of rice cracker to my dad and my best friend. At that time the company was taking the Spring break, so the boxes were finally delivered today. They were happy for the variety of contents. I talked with my dad over the phone. His voice sounded healthy and happy. I am glad they are doing great.

I totally forgot about dying my hair. My last one was December 20 of last year. I think my white hair issue has been much improved than last year. I asked my daughter to give me my forth hair dye with henna powder. Amazingly she has been getting better and better in each time. It was so comfortable while she was applying the henna mixing to my hair and massaging my sculp. I think I fell asleep for a while because I don’t remember the whole process. She can be a professional hair stylist anytime.

In my last massage therapy, the massage therapist used a pair of scrubbing glove to descale my dead skin off. The descaling process was so comfortable and I loved the result. So I purchased the same product as she used. Today my daughter and I used the scrubbing glove. We enjoyed our shining and smooth skin.

Recently I have having a tough time for bowel movements. I thought of a colon hydrotherapy. I had my last one on January 17^th so it has been almost four months since then. This morning I had my 6^th colon hydrotherapy at home. I am glad that I did it. I felt much lighter than before.

In the late morning my family and I watched the movie Thunderheart (1992). Even though it was my 5^th time to watch this movie, I was moved and shed tears. I felt nostalgic feeling to see Badlands.

In the afternoon I received a phone call from my friend. She will be moving to another place at the beginning of next month. It was a surprising news but understandable. When some life traditional events are supposed to happen, it happens abruptly but we have to quickly adjust ourselves to get on the ride. Even though I am a bit feeling sad of her move as she is the only one whom I can fully trust in this town, I am happy for her life changing event. We decided to see each other one more time before her move.

She will move to up north. We will eventually move to Navajoland. From our new place to her new area, it only takes three hours’ drive. We can visit each other again.

In the morning my family and I went to the canyon hiking. On the way back we stopped by at the car wash place. There, we saw my husband’s supervisor. He started working for this job since last December. He often talks about his supervisor of all the nice things about him. I wanted to meet him sometime, and today my wish naturally came true. We greeted each other. He was indeed nice and calm as my husband often mentions. I am glad for my husband to work under a man who is thoughtful and kind.

In the afternoon we watched the old movie; The Education of Little Tree (1997). I watched this movie many times before I married. I also read the novel written by Forrest Carter in Japan. I wanted to watch this movie again with my family. I love this movie. I love the part especially Willow John can communicate with Little Tree, Grandma, and Grandpa through looking at the star.

I made my second trial of homemade Notto. The first trial was not successful. For the first trial, I followed the manufacture’s recommended recipe. I felt the reason why the first trial was not successful was due to insufficient amount of Natto starter in the recipe. So this time, I followed my intuition and added a generous amount of Natto starter. I boiled soy beans and removed the excess water. Then I added the Natto starter and kept it in a yogurt maker for 24 hours. My second trial turned out great. I enjoyed my homemade Natto for dinner.

In my dream my late friend visited me. He was a spiritual healer in Los Angeles. He put his head in my lap and lay down. We were happily chatting with the close distance. Then I woke up. I guess my friend has been supporting me from the Spirit world. Thank you my friend for visiting me and supporting me.

In the morning I had my eighth massage therapy. Today the massage therapist offered a Mother’s Day Deal and she added extra 15 minutes foot massage. When I arrived at the parking lot, it was blocked with a yellow tape. So I drove to the next building and parked in their parking lot. I didn’t feel comfortable for parking there because there were a whole bunch of warning signs here and there saying the parking lot for tenant customers only. When I went into the massage therapist building, she was waiting me at the entrance and told me I could park at the empty parking lot across the street. That was what she was told by the building owner. So I walked back to my car, drove to a different area, and walked back to the massage therapist’s office. By then I was all sweated due to the Strong Arizona sun’s heat. My massage therapy ended 30 minutes later than usual. Then I went to the grocery store where it was all crowded by many customers. I had a hard time to move around in the store.

I finally came back around noon. Since I left my house at 8 a.m., I had been gone for 4 hours.

My husband and daughter had worried about me. They were planning to search around me if I were 10 more minutes late. They told me in a funny way and we had a good laugh, but I do appreciate them to concern about me. I always appreciate their constant love to me.

Since the beginning of this month, I started studying Navajo language. Today is the 6^th day.

Here is what motivated me to study their language.

I took online Mantra class twice. With the beginning of the class of September 2020, I started studying Hindi language every day until the end of this April. I am originally love studying and once I am determined, I don’t spare any efforts. I have been studying Hindi every day. But I noticed some unmatched energy in me. I felt it was a strong message from my family spirits telling me to switch my effort of studding Hindi to Navajo language. Thus I followed their advice.

On my first visit of Navajoland when I was 28 years old, I was intrigued by their language. I purchased four sets of textbooks and cassette tapes. I studied their language by using the study materials, but didn’t continue for more than two years. When I moved to America, I brought the study materials with me. I took them out from back of the closet. I started listening to the cassette tapes. One cassette tape broke after several minutes. The other tape was okay, but toward the end of the side, the sound got stretched and made uncomfortable noises. Unfortunately I could not find the replacement CDs. One of my workbook that I bought in 1999 was obsolete. Somebody is trying to sell it through Amazon marketplace with the price of $948. I wish I could sell my workbook with the price.

Now I switched the study material to YouTube. Thankfully many Navajo people posted to teach us Navajo language. I think I will follow one of them and study with his tutorial video clips.

In today’s guided mediation, my guide spirit appeared in a young male figure. He gave me a filter. He told me this filter can be used to filter good memories and bad memories. The bad memories will stay in the filter and only the good memories will go through to me. He wants me to take only the good memories and cherish them. While he was giving me this filter and the message, I was thinking about the memories with my mom when my parents visited us in Las Vegas in 2011. We ended up to a rally ugly argument in this trip, but we also had a whole bunch of good memories. My guide spirit wants me to remember the good memories and keep them in my soul.

Today I worked on sewing a velvet blouse. I will wear this blouse for my dad-in-law’s healing ceremony. I struggled with sewing a velvet fabric as it slipped but somewhat I got used to it.

I called my dad in the evening. My dad didn’t pick up the phone, but his housemaid answered the phone on behalf. She told me my dad was sleeping in his bedroom even though it was 11 a.m. in their time.

It turned out beneficial for me to talk to her as I’ve got to know about the recent life of my dad. It sounded like my dad has been doing well with constant appetite. His housemaid also told me some troubles my dad has. All I can do from this side is to keep sending my dad good prayers.

I arranged sending some small gifts to my dad. The company is now under spring break and the gift package will be send on May 11^th. I hope my dad will enjoy my gifts.

I also arranged some gifts to my best friend to celebrate her belated birthday. Today is her birthday.
