In the evening at 6 p.m., I had an online meeting with my attorney and a tax accountant whom my attorney introduced me. The new tax accountant was a female. I like her. She is around my age and has a good sense of humor. If this meeting was only her and myself, we would end up chit-chatting for much longer time.

My attorney for some reasons seemed to be irritated from the beginning. But I know it is nothing to do with me. Maybe he was having a bad day today. Except for that, my case seems to be going well so far.

We came back home from Navajoland. I am thankful that our house was well protected. Having a short trip is fun, but coming back home and sleeping on my own bed is the greatest gift after the trip.

Our area was still in the cold temperature. The inside of our house was very cold.  

Yesterday we found out the water pipe outside of the kitchen of my mom in law was broken due to freezing air. Luckily, she could get hold of a Plumer and he came down to see the situation. The cold-water line was dead but she can still use the hot water line through the water heater, so that she can still keep using water for the bathroom, shower, and cooking. The life in Navajoland gets tough for the elderly people living alone, especially in winter.

My husband helped his mom with other things all day today.

For dinner we had snow crab. I cooked some side dishes such as spicy vegetable soup and rice. We had a good time with good food tougher.

We went to the flea market with my mom in law and my family. We enjoyed shopping from many different vendors. We purchased some white safe from California and several earrings for my daughter.  

We had king crab at dinner. My mom in law was so happy to have it with us. While my dad in law was alive, we often enjoyed having king crab and beef steak meal. I hope my late dad in law were there with us. I am pretty sure he was there with us and enjoyed the conversation with us in spirit.

We woke up early and got ready to leave for Navajoland. Right before we left, I received a phone call from my mom-in-law. She asked me to bring some sage because she wanted us to smudge all the homesite area including her house and our trailer. Interestingly, about 5 minutes before she called me, I had an instruction that right before she called me, that I should bring some sage. Her phone call was a great way to prove that we telepathically communicated before we actually communicated physically over the phone.

Our trip went smoothly. We made it to arrive there with a 7-hour drive. It is always back to Navajoland and see my mom in law and Bucky the Chihuahua.

It was a busy day. My daughter had the benchmark test on math in the morning. I had some chores that needed to be done within today. For the past one week, it has been very cold all day long, and the cold temperature has slowed me down to finish up the to-do-list items. I was irritated of myself that I haven’t accomplished not much today. Thankfully, my daughter comforted me. She told me it is okay to slow down sometime, especially during the cold days. All the living creatures are supposed to rest well in winter. She is absolutely right.  

My attorney submitted the extra supporting documents to the family court to support my situation. He has been doing great in his job. He is amazingly quick and accurate in job. On my side, I created some supporting documents for his information.

In the night at 7 p.m., I had an online meeting with my attorney. I had several questions that I wanted to ask him, and I thought it would be easy for him to answer face to face, instead of in a written form. He answered all my questions and gave me comfort. He is still waiting for the necessary actions from my old attorney. He was supposed to transfer the original documents regarding my case and forward my petti cash. We officially asked him to do this ASAP as of the end of last year, 12/26/2024. It has been more than 3 weeks past but he still hasn’t taken the actions. My new attorney told me not to worry as he has been working on it on behalf of me.

I am way behind of my schedule on the professional course. There are 30units that I have to study by the final exam of this coming May. The latter half is medical and anatomy part that I haven’t even started. I asked the office representative if they will include the medical and anatomy part in the exam. Her reply made me to relieved. She said the part won’t be included in the final exam. I am relieved that I can focus on the homeopathy part only for the final exam. I will still enjoy learning a lot about medical and anatomy, but when it comes to the exam, I honestly don’t have the full confidence.

In the evening around 8 p.m., I received an email from my brother. It was not a nice content. In the email, he accused me that I didn’t accept his settlement proposal and threatened me that he would never give up on his right to receive everything of my late dad’s inheritance. I reported to my attorney of my brother’s email and asked him to use this as the evidence to submit to the court. My attorney agreed with me. He kindly told me not to worry. I feel blessed to have him as my attorney.
