I harvested our third watermelon. The first two turned out great. Since this was the third one and it grew the biggest of the three, I expected it would taste the best of all. But it was not. When I sliced it, the majority of the inside was still left as white. The middle parts were somewhat ripened but still pink not red. It tasted good but not great as the previous two. I am wondering if it is due to the soil. It might not contain enough nutrition in the soil to grow watermelons.
