Tonight at 2 a.m., summer time started. Since most of the insurance related trainings and meetings are set to the California time, I need to set all my alarms one hour back until November. With the summer time start, allergy season has arrived. I started having all the symptom of allergic reaction such as dull headache, itchy eyes, and runny nose.    

In the early morning at 1 a.m., I attended the online Reiki gathering. There were 34 attendees. toward the end, the Reiki teacher shared about Japanese philosophy of 物の哀れ Mono-no-Aware. I remember he shared this philosophy before in this gathering. The teacher mentioned it to the host, but the host said it was already two years ago. I was surprised it had been already two years passed since then.  

The teacher repeated the same information, but it was a great reminder. It is like 桜. Cherry blossoms are beautiful but they don’t last long. They are vulnerable with any conditions of natural conditions such as strong winds and rains.     

物の哀れ is difficult to clearly explain even in Japanese. It means sympathy toward the tranced of beauty of things. To me, this term and philosophy is similar to that of 一期一会. It means everything is changing and thus, nothing stays the same. And that is why we have to cherish every moment. 諸行無常 is also similar that tells nothing stays the same. This philosophy really touches deeply my heart as I age every year. One of the quotes of Louise Hay goes “I choose to make the rest of my life the best of my life.” It’s a great one.

Most of my free time on the daytime, I worked on my homepage. Today I manually created the Japanese page and menu. I don’t have Business Plan which is the expensive subscription. If I had this plan, the process would have been much simpler and easier because I would be able to use Plugin and it would do all the works for me. since I don’t have the plan, I needed to do manually one by one. Luckily, I got a very nice and kind live-chat-engineer who walked me through step by step. I really appreciate his/her support tonight.

Then I took a 2-hour nap to prepare for the long night. I had two zoom meetings; one was from 10 p.m. and the other was from 1 a.m.

In the late night at 10 p.m., I attended the online homeopath gathering. everybody had an opportunity to introduce ourselves and share our personal experiences on homeopathy remedies. I am the 12^th student and I met 5 of my fellow students. It was a beneficial meeting.

It was my birthday. My family went to the local ice cream store to pick up the custom ordered birthday cake. I made this year’s birthday as one of the memorable ones. From today I started posting Podcast. Without the encouragements and supports from my friends, I would have not been able to take this step forward.

In the evening at 5 p.m., my family and I attended the community meeting presented by the internet provider. For the past one month, the construction company have been working hard every day, cutting, digging the asphalted road, installing the cable tubes, and patching the road up. Sometimes maybe they were late on their work schedule and the workers kept on working even until midnight. So, the company people invited the community people to explain what has been going on and their plan and schedule. The new internet service should be available from this August. I enjoyed meeting with my local friends and catching up with them. We all had a good evening at the meeting venue.

In the evening at 6 p.m., I had a zoom meeting with one of my palmistry group members for reading session exchange. I offered him Horoscope chart reading with Sabian symbols, and in return, he offered me some advice about my homepage. His advice was helpful. He encouraged me to start Podcast, which I was planning, but at the same time, I was feeling scared for publishing my voice message. By the end of our conversation, I was filled with courage and about to take the first step. I really appreciate for his encouragement and support.

In the early morning at 6:30 a.m., I made a phone call to the annuity insurance company. My first anniversary is coming up, and I can edit the strategy index during only the certain period. Their website recommends customers to call them in the early morning which should be their least busy hour. I expected to be connected to a live agent right away, but it didn’t go like that. I called the main number and listened to their recorded instruction on which number I should press, then the put me on-wait for more than 10 minutes. Then finally, I was connected to a live agent. So far so good. Unfortunately, though, the agent was not helpful at all. She repeated my request over and over again, put me on-hold every time she repeated my retest, the she would come back and said she does not know. By the time I hang up the phone, it was close to 8:20 a.m. I spent 2 hours on the phone, which was not helpful. I wonder other people are having the same experiences as I did. I should have done this communication via email or online chat, if they had, so that I could have done something simultaneously and didn’t waste my time.  

I received a notice letter of the first anniversary from the annuity company. It has been 1 year since my purchase.

In the afternoon I spent most of my personal time on preparation of annuity application form. Even though I finished the appointment process last year, some of the information was changed into inactive for some reason. Around this time of the year of last year, I started studying for the insurance agent license test. I am really happy that I passed the test on my first trial. I don’t want to deal with the study process anymore.

In the evening at 6 p.m., I had a zoom meeting with one of my fellow students of the palmistry class. I had seen her in the group lesson before but it was our very first time to talk in person. We agreed to exchange our favorite fortune telling method to each other. She offered me a reading with 紫微斗数 (purple Star Astrology) and I offered her a reading with Sabian symbols in her natal horoscope chart.

I had been interested in learning 紫微斗数 and had a chart created in an internet site, but none of the messages resonated with me. Today, thanks to her intuitive interpretation regarding each star, all the messages resonated with me and fully answered to my questions from my inner voice. I really liked how she explained and interpreted the stars and the way she conveyed the messages.

My family and I went to the state capital to receive my passport. Even in phoenix, where it is mostly hot, it was cold about 50 Fahrenheit. I was surprised to see one woman sun-tanning in a bikini at the outdoor swimming pool in this cold weather.

After our chore was dine, we went to IKEA. My parents-in-law and my family came here together 5 years ago after the passport application. Today there were not with us physically, but my family felt the energy of my late dad-in-law. We felt he was enjoying looking around the store with us. This store had a different energy from other stores in America. We constantly hear foreign languages from European people and the most of workers were Europeans. I never encountered any rude or unpleasant workers there. Rather, their workers were all polite and pleasant. I felt their energy being high self-esteem in a good way. We left our home early in the morning and came back home late at night. we were exhausted but had a great time throughout the day.
