My last monthly period was in January. It skipped in February and March. I thought it was skipped due to the flu I suffered in these two months, but at the same time I thought it might be ended. I am in the menopause stage and my period can be forever ended in any time. I have a complex feeling of happiness and sadness about its transitioning. But today, it came back. It is like to have a surprise visitor whom I never expected to have. I am happy it came back. Welcome back.
Inner child therapy course applied 4/9/2022
This year I am going to take two online courses from the Japanese homeopathy school. The two courses are Family Homeopath course and Inner child therapy course. The first course starts at June and I already finished paying the tuition. The latter one starts at September 2022 and the deadline of the tuition payment is set in summer. Since the current exchange rate of Japanese and us dollar is advantage for US dollar, I decided to pay the tuition today. The exchange rate of today was 124 yen for 1 US dollar.
***
FYI: One week later as of April 17th, the rate got even better for US dollar: 26 yen for 1 US dollar. I should have waited a little longer, but it is okay though.
Expanded vegetable garden 4/8/2022
My family and worked on our vegetable garden. We assembled a new wooden garden box and fenced around the garden boxes to get rid of stray cats to come in.
It was a hard work that I have sore muscle on my arms and thighs. I am feeling great about our hard work.
Navajo stimulus check (2) 4/7/2022
In the evening we received a phone call from my mom-in-law. She announced us that the Navajo stimulus checks for my husband and daughter are delivered to her P.O. Box. This is their second check from Navajo tribe. The first one was directly deposited to our bank account so we expected to receive it in the same way, but this time they changed the procedure without letting us know. Anyway it was a great news.
Then my mom-in-law continued another great news for us. My husband was already given the trailer house where my dad-in-law owned. It was his wish before he passed away. Now my mom-in-law decided to give his tool shed with tools to my husband too. During the conversation she also decided to give the house, where she currently lives in, to my husband. She already decided to give other 2 buildings to my husband’s older brother along with my mom-in-law’s garden and the garden shed. We are all happy for my mom-in-law’s decisions about the distributions.
New eye glasses 4/6/2022
In the early morning I went to the local grocery store. Even though it was still 7 a.m., the store had a whole bunch of customers and I was surprised. Thankfully though, for some reasons, all the customers and workers whom I encountered and interacted this morning were all nice and polite. None of them made me feel uncomfortable nor annoyed. I really appreciate the support from my family spirits. I was wondering why the store was packed even in the early morning. Later on I realized it was the first Wednesday. The store offers 10% off to elders. That was why I encountered many old people there. I will be one of them who can enjoy the discount in three more years.
After the shopping, I stopped by at the eye doctor’s office and picked up my new eye glasses. Obviously the new glasses were heavy. This pair of glasses are the most luxurious and expensive one that I ever had. The frame got sturdier than the last one, and the lens area is much bigger than the last one. Besides, I added all of the functions that they recommended. The fancy functions are progressive lens for trifocal (covering near, middle, and far sighted), transitional sunglass for Arizona’s strong sun, anti-glare for night driving, and computer screen protection. The new eye glasses feels much heavier than the last one. While the last one weighs 11 gram, the new one weighs 17 gram. Regardless of the heavy weight, I really like the new eye glasses. It definitely worth to pay extra fee for me to feel ease with this new glasses.
Reiki gathering –Sakura- 4/5/2022
I attended the Reiki gathering at 5 p.m. There were 44 attendees.
The Reiki teacher shared his wisdom about sakura; cherry blossom. At this moment Japanese people have been enjoying sakura flowers. Japanese love sakura. And he thinks it is because Japanese people see sakura as a representative of 物の哀れmonono aware. It is one of the philosophy that our ancestors have cherished for generations. It is a cycle of life and gentle sadness. Sakura blossom is beautiful but we know the beautiful moment doesn’t stay for long. After sakura blossoms reach to the full bloom, next stage is for cherry blossoms to fall off by heavy rain and strong wind. Sakura expresses the transition of things. We see the universal rule of 諸行無常 Shogyo Mujo that everything is impermanence. Everything is being evolving by transitioning its stage. We see the beauty in the transitioning process. The teacher reminded us that we should cherish every moment because the “Now moment” will not come back again. We should not be attached to anything. We just enjoy the now moment and believe everything changes to evolve and improve. I always enjoy his teachings and reminders.
Dream of a yellow car 4/4/2022
In my dream a bright yellow car appeared. According to the dream interpretation dictionary, the dreamer has been actively proceeding in order to make their wishes happen. I think this dream reflecting my strong desire to pass the insurance license exam. I have been studying almost every day. I am currently working on the simulation test. It has a 150-question for 2 hours. My concentration can somewhat stay for the first 30 minutes, but after that, my eyes get sore and I get extremely sleepy. I need to fight to get back my concentration for the last 30 minutes. The exam requires 70% and above to pass the exam, but my score stays somewhere in 50%. My highest score is 59% so far. I want to pass the exam with the first shot, so I will need to focus the study more than now.
My husband resumed working out in the gym. He used to swing by at the gym close to his workplace, but since the pandemic, the gym had been closed. Recently they have resumed the business open to public. My husband wants to resume his old habit to work out after the job every day. He came back with high vibration. He enjoyed working out. I am happy that he had a good time working out with other nice people whom he interacted there.
Conversation with my dad 4/3/2022
In the night after I came out from bath, I noticed I missed a call from my dad twice. Every time before I call my dad, I always pray that we would not end up a bad argument. I still have suffered from the traumatic arguments with my dad two years ago. After a quick prayer, I called my dad. His voice sounded strong and healthy as always. He kept on muttering me that I didn’t call him for 4 months. I told him I had been so busy and I even suffered from a flu for a month. And I corrected him that it had been only 3 months not 4 month. I called him at the New Year’s Day anyway. After we ended our short conversation and hung up the phone, an explosive sigh came out unconsciously.
After I talked with my dad, I called my cousin in Japan. I haven’t talked with him for several months, but we quickly caught up our fun conversation. I always like talking with him. I was surprised at his age. He said he will turn to be 70 in this month. His voice sounds much younger than his real age. In my next visit to Japan, I look forward to spending some with him again.
Planting seeds (1) 4/2/2022
In the morning my family and I planted seeds in the garden soil bed. We will take care of them indoor until they grow strong.
This year’s new seeds are some Japanese vegetables such as shungiku and Tokyo negi. I really hope they will grow and we can enjoy them.
Getting ready garden soil bed for seeds 4/1/2022
With my family’s help, I prepared a garden soil bed for seeds. In the current garden, parsley, green onion, and mint has been healthily growing and taking up almost entire area. They are full of fresh energy. I appreciate their existence and am loving them.
