Today’s meditation: My guide spirit appeared in a female figure. She was wearing a white simple dress. She gave me a gift of a mirror. This mirror symbolized to know myself. My guide spirit wants me to look into me frequently and find new findings in me. She doesn’t want me to look myself only appearance such as my skin condition or wrinkles. Rather she wants me to look me into deep inside as a soul level. She says I should look different every day and every minute. Because I have been evolving in a soul level, I should look better and better. And she wants me to love me and appreciate me for making efforts every day to improve my soul. She always feels proud of me staying positive and keep learning new things. I appreciate her encouragement and support to me.

At night we talked with my mom-in-law. She had a Covid-19 test at the hospital but the test result would come in tomorrow. Her voice sounded strong. She said she was feeling just fine, so we all believe her test result will come back as negative. My dad-in-law is doing fine. His appetite came back and he could enjoy eating food now. His doctor decided to keep him because his oxygen level is low. He might be able to be released from the hospital within a couple of more days.

I read a book Red Cloud: A Lakota Story of War and Surrender and Sitting Bull: Lakota Warrior and Defender of His People. The both books were written by S.D. Nelson. They are a picture book for children but contain lots of pages to read. The author is a Lakota man. I could feel his respect and love to his own people through his books.    

In the evening I received a phone call from my mom-in-law. As soon as I answered the phone and heard her voice, I instantly sensed her shocked and sad energy. She said she was trying to get hold of my husband but he didn’t pick up phone. I told her my husband was still in deep asleep exhausted from the previous day’s work. Then my mom-in-law started sharing the situation about my dad-in-law. One week ago both of them took their second shot of Covid-19 vaccine. My dad-in-law started feeling sick and stayed in bed without any appetite for three days. Today my mom-in-law took him to the hospital. There, the doctor admitted that my dad-in-law was tested as Covid-19 positive.

My mom-in-law was in shock. While she was telling this, she was weeping. The doctor told her to come back to the hospital tomorrow to have her the Covid-19 test. He will stay in the hospital and the doctor still don’t know how long he will stay in the hospital. She will have to do a self-quarantine for two weeks too.

I hope my dad-in-law will get well soon and be discharged from the hospital soon. Since he had the vaccine shots twice, his Covid-19 symptom should be mild as other people say.

At night my husband received a phone call from my dad-in-law. My husband put the phone on speaker so all of my family could hear his voice. My dad-in-law sounded strong and healthy. He said he just ate a turkey sandwich. He could taste it and enjoyed it. He sounded normal without an oxygen mask. We were all happy to hear his strong voice. He might be able to get discharged much sooner than we previously thought.

Today’s dream: I was at a party venue with my family spirits. In the physical realm, I don’t like being at a party venue, but here in Spirit World with my family spirits, I could fully enjoyed being at a party. They asked me to sit on a chair on the front stage. There were two chairs. A young female figure was sitting on the other seat next to me. She introduced me that she was nominated as my new guide spirit. She said her name is Chikako. It was very rare that my guide spirits told me their name. It never happened to me before. Anyway, it is very nice to have you Chikako-san as my new guide spirit. Thank you for your continuous love to me and support. I will do my best by living every minute fully till my very last day on this physical realm.

In the morning I was invited to the community garden. One of the members gave me a basil plant. I thankfully received it and replanted it in our garden bed. The soul of our garden bed was soft and moisten from recent constant rain. By noon our new basil plant already stood on its own and looked healthy. For lunch, I baked a homemade margarita pizza with the fresh basil leaves. It turned out wonderful. We all enjoyed it with the high vibration from fresh basil.

At night around 7 p.m., my dad called me. His voice sounded very strong and healthy. He seemed to be feeling lonely. He asked me when I can go back to Japan to visit him. I told him the situation where the Japanese government sets for visitors from America. As far as I know, upon entering from America to Japan, all the visitors are required (1) to submit a certificate of negative test result conducted within 72 hours prior to departing, (2) to pledge to refrain from using public transportation for 14 days, and to be in quarantine at home or other designated areas for 14 days, retain the location data, and provide it to the health centers or other institutions, (3) to sign and submit the Written Pledge. I told my dad about all the restrictions that I will go through if I visit japan at this time. He said he understood the situation and wait for things to be calmed down. I told my dad I probably won’t be able to visit japan within this year.

At night I watched a Japanese drama “人生最高の贈りもの (2021) Jinsei Saikou no Okurimono.” The main character was a young woman who happily married. One day she came back to her dad’s house all of a sudden without telling him the reason. The young woman was diagnosed as the terminal stage of cancer and wanted to spend some time with her dad. The story reminded me of my late mom suffered from cancer. Also it made me think of my dad. I wept almost all the time while I watched this show.

I went to the grocery store in the morning. The majority people in both workers and customers were not wearing a face mask. I was one of the rare people who were wearing a facial mask. I hope people will still wear a facial mask for our safety. The infection rate of Covid-19 has risen again. Los Angeles and Las Vegas have resumed the mask mandate regulation.

Today was a rainy day with dark clouds, lightning, and thunders almost all day long. My daughter felt dizzy from the morning and didn’t want to go to summer school. The swimming pool was closed due to the bad weather. It turned out good to have her at home safely. I would have worried if she had gone to school in this scary weather.  

Today’s dream: I was at Osaka station. I didn’t like being surrounded by many people at a station in the center of metropolitan city. I was at loss, didn’t know which train I should take. One man who was familiar with me run to me and grabbed my arm. He was putting a nice friendly smile on his face. He told me not to worry because he would take care of me from this point. He escorted me tot eh right train and we both came back to our local town. When we got out from the train, he invited me to his house. I didn’t know his house was very close to the station. His house was nicely organized and clean. He told me to feel at home. I felt safe with him at his house. We both smiled at each other. Then I woke up feeling comfortable.

In the morning I was invited to the community garden produce distribution. Today I received onions, green beans, okras, zucchinis, carrots, yellow squash, tomatoes, and beets. I made a homemade salsa with onions, carrots, and tomatoes. It turned out really good. One downside about the fresh produces came directly from a garden is the bugs. Even though I washed them thoroughly, I noticed a tiny worm crawling on my arm, which made me screamed. Other than that, everything tasted and smelled fresh and provided us high vibration.  

I heard a sad news about our local area. On Tuesday night at the restaurant parking lot in our next city, two young people were killed by gun shots. The girl was 21 years old and the boy was probably around the same age as the girl.

I don’t know and don’t want to know the detailed story. I just want to send good prayers for the two souls for their peaceful journey back to the spirit world.

Around July 4^th, for a couple of days continuously, I heard a couple of sounds like gun shots. I was hoping they were just the sound of fireworks, but my husband and some other people who are prior military, all confirmed they were the sounds of gun shorts.

I had grown up in Japan and been away from gun shots. I don’t feel comfortable to hear the sounds of gun shots in our daily life.

I sincerely hope that all the people will re-think about the danger of a gun and stay away from taking their gun out from their house as much as they can. There should be always some ways to bring to peace rather than using a gun. My dear spirits and angels, please raise our vibrations and let us maintain our peaceful environment.

My daughter’s summer school is almost coming to an end. They have 9 more days including today. She shared one cute story about one of the attendees. He is a young boy who is 3^rd grade. According to my daughter, he has good personality. He is polite, talkative, and fun to hang around. He used to stay in the same group with my daughter. Nowadays he is not in the group anymore because he has made a girlfriend with one of the Summer School attendees. What made it even funnier was this is his third girlfriend. He has two ex-es even though he is still at 3^rd grade. I bet the life is fun for him.

In the evening I chatted with my new Reiki friend on the phone. We talked about upcoming Reiki teaching tour in Sedona. She wanted to have my opinion and feeling about the tour if she should postpone till next May. I shared my true feeling with her. I feel it will be much easier and better if she can reschedule to next May, but I also suggested her to talk to the teacher directly to make a final decision.

She also told me there are some Japanese people who want to the Japanese direct lineage Reiki and she wants to introduce them to me. If I am the right teacher for them, I am willing to teach/share my knowledge. I am looking forward to meeting them in person in the future.  

In the previous 6 months my husband had worked as a night shift from later afternoon to after midnight. His kind supervisor switched his work shift to a normal daytime one started from May 23^rd. I was so happy for him to get back to daytime shift as it is good for his health. He has enjoyed it but unfortunately his supervisor announced him a bad news. Their night shift worker had completely stopped coming to work and the company desperately needs somebody to cover the worker’s shift until they hire a replacement new worker. His supervisor begged my husband to help them out. My husband is gentle and cannot say no to them, so he accepted their request. Starting from this Saturday, he will have to work for a night shift. I will keep praying to our family spirits so that he will get back to the daytime shift again pretty soon. Please Great Spirit, help him out for his good health and safety.

In next month, my dad-in-law is planning to have a Navajo traditional healing ceremony for him. The date was set by the medicine man back in March, and my in-laws asked us to come and support them. I was really looking forward to attending his healing ceremony. Besides, I like the medicine man and his wife whom I have known since 1999. They are old as same as my parents’ age, and I don’t want to miss any opportunity to spend time with them. However, due to this work shift change, it makes my husband hard to ask his supervisor for a day-off. Everybody hates his new work shift, the night shift. In order for my husband to take a day-off, his supervisor will need to find somebody who is willing to cover my husband, and most likely nobody is willing to do so. This morning my husband talked to his parents about his current work situation that it will be hard for him to take two days off from work. They told him that they will have enough people to help them out. My dad-in-law’s two friends are planning to come. My husband’s brother, his girlfriend, and their daughter are planning to come. In addition to that, my husband’s brother’s former girlfriend and their daughter, along with her boyfriend are coming. And, the girlfriend’s parents are coming. So, in altogether, there will be my in-laws, the medicine man couple, and eight people of family and relatives, combined to 12 people will be there. If we push ourselves to go, we will probably need to pay for a hotel for our stay. There will be too many people in the Hogan. Taking all the conditions into consideration, we decided not to go this time. I am disappointed. I really wanted to attend the ceremony. 

Last night our area had a rough night due to the rain storm. While my routine morning walk in the neighborhood area, I noticed many damages everywhere in our neighborhood. Some trees fell down from the roots just like our backyard trees. Some people had their outside window blinds tore down. The community garden had suffered from dead plants due to rough hails.

I spent most of morning in the backyard and took care of the mess. I trimmed skinny branches from the fell down trees. We will enjoy campfire to use up these branches this weekend.  

I had a fun dream. My family, my in-laws, and my husband’s late grandparents were enjoying a picnic at somewhere mountain area in Navajoland. Grandma looked all happy and calm. She showed us some magic. She was holding one baby plant. She put the plant on the ground and said some magic word in Navajo. Then the plant started growing bigger and bigger, just like one scene in the movie My Neighbor Totoro. We had a new family member. It was a small-sized black fluffy hair dog. It was a male dog. He was very smart to understand our language. In this dream, Grandma taught me a lot about Navajo culture. She wanted us to move to Navajo Nation as soon as possible. She told me she was eager to support me and teach me a lot about Navajo culture.

In the morning we did the regular routine; went to the canyon hiking. It was completely empty two weeks ago, but it went back to normal this morning. We passed by many visitors on the trail.

In the early afternoon the maintenance guy came and replaced a ceiling fan. One of the ceiling fans were wobbling from the beginning right after we moved in this house. Yesterday when the guy came to fix the swamp cooler, he finally found out the ceiling fan and promised to replace it. It is good to have a safe ceiling fan.

In the evening we had lots of rain and high wind. The weather report says in our area had “wind gusts in excess of 90 mph and hail greater than 1 inch in diameter.”

The high wind broke off two the trees in our backyard. One was the tallest and biggest tree and the other was standing next to the tallest tree. These two threes were very popular among birds. Tomorrow morning when all the birds find out the trees were gone, they will be sad. At least I am glad the two trees fell off to our property so that they didn’t hurt anybody in our neighborhood.

At 8:30 p.m. in the night I attended the Sunday Service hosted by the Japanese mediumship. I like this host/medium very much. She is polite to everybody and good at spiritual reading. I always look forward to her class and Sunday Service. Tonight however, unfortunately due to the rain storm, our Internet connection was very bad. The Zoom app kicked me out several times and I needed to go back to the meeting. I almost gave up being chosen to convey messages at the demonstration of spiritual communication, but at the very last minute she chose me.

She saw a female figure and the medium thought it was my late mom. My mom showed her a vision of me and my family. We were with many people like a party, and I was feeding them lots of food. My mom praised I am a good cook. She thinks I will be able to offer my homemade foods to people, and it will bring lots of money to my family. She recommends me to start a business related to my homemade food.

It was an interesting synchronicity. Recently my late grandma-in-law showed me the exactly same vision in my dream. She recommended me to start offering my homemade food and it would bring lots of money to us.

I was happy to know. It seems like my mom, grandma, and grandma-in-law are together and thinking the same way.

The medium also mentioned about my daughter. My mom is happily watching over my daughter spending good time with a cute boy. My daughter has been enjoying the summer school program with her new friends with a group of 5; 3 boys and 2 girls. I was glad that my mom is watching over my daughter.

I appreciate the medium for conveying the message to me. I always admire her accurate reading ability.
