Spiritual doodling 4/29/2021

I tried my first spiritual doodling. I asked my question on exactly what year and month we will move to Navajoland. I wrote down the numbers of 2023 and 8. I think it means we will move in August of 2023. It was actually fun. I will keep practicing this method often.

In our neighborhood area within 3 minutes walking distance, I started spotting a puppy coyote very often. In Navajoland we spotted many mother horse with a foal. They were so cute. I guess many young ones were born this year. Or is it pretty common in every April?

Guide spirit workshop 4/28/2021

I attended the workshop at 3:30 a.m. There were 25 students attended. It was a lecture about Guide Spirits. I like the idea that our higher-self and future-self are also included into our guide spirits. I personally believe our past-life-self is also included into our guide spirits, as I often receive messages from my past-life-self.

The instructor shared us the methods to connect with our guide spirits. One of them was a spiritual doodling. We can ask a specific question to our guide spirits and ask them to write down symbols and answers while we are doodling in a meditate state. I thought it a great method. I want to ask about our best timing to move to Navajoland.

At the last of the class, we did a partner reading. We were told to tell our partner of the following keys. Anything inspired into our mind about counties, foods, colors, animals and words. My partner I was assigned was a young female student. She told me she just finished the Basic course and she asked me to go first.

I felt her power animal as an eagle. One of her guide spirits was a Native American male warrior. I saw her in my vision that she was enjoying a horseback riding tour in the near future.

In my turn, my inspired words were like this.

Countries: America, Japan, Bali Island in Indonesia

Foods: Brown rice, crispy vegetables such as carrots and celery, curry and rice

Colors: Blue, white, green

Animals: horse, wolf, and dog

Words: well balance, peace, love

She felt my guide spirit as a gentle and calm female energy. She does not like arguing or fighting. She has lots of patience. She loves nature especially wide and vast meadow. Her message to me was to often visit nature and receive their healing and loving energy to heal me physically and mentally.

Doing something good to the mother Earth 4/27/2021

We enjoyed the summer-like weather yesterday, but today the weather went back to cold. It felt like it was in the middle of winter even though we are at the end of April. It was windy and cold today. Recently I read the news article regarding the Earth’s axis. It says the recent study shows climate drastic change has shifted the Earth’s axis. I think every action of each human affects to the planet Earth. Even if it is a tiny effort, I want to keep contributing to the mother Earth by doing something good to her.

Today’s meditation: I visited my childhood. I liked touching dirt. Whenever I visited my aunt, I went to her yard and played with plants and dirt. I loved the dirt smell and its soft touch.

I visited to the light world and I saw one of my past lives where I was born as a Lakota woman. I received messages from the Lakota woman of my past life like this.

Emergency declaration in my hometown 4/26/2021

I enjoyed the nice and warm weather today.

My friend shared the Covid-19 situation in Japan. The government have issued Emergency declaration for 4 prefectures. I was surprised to know my hometown was included in the four prefectures. I pray my family for their safety.

In the area where I live, all the businesses has gotten back to almost normal except for people wearing a facial mask. Navajoland was much stricter than our area. The majority of sightseeing spots and flea market are still closed. At the grocery store and gas station stores, they still limit the number of customers at the entrance.

Friend’s departure 4/25/2021

While our visit in Navajoland, we went to the tool store in town. It was close to one of my good friends’ house. I thought of him wondering how he was doing. He was good at sewing Navajo traditional outfits. He used to sell his products in the flea market. Now the flea market has been closed, I was wondering if he has started his business online. I wanted to buy a Navajo traditional outfit if he sells it online. So, I searched his name.

I could find his name in the Internet much easier than I thought. But it was not in a good way. It was in a sad way. I found some sad news about him. He went missing in 2009 and never be found. Six years later his family held a funeral for him. I was shocked. He was still young. I wondered what happened to him. He was always calm and cheerful. He enjoyed his life. He was the last person who would commit suicide. Before I went to bed last night, I asked his spirit to visit me in my dream and show me what happened to him, if it is okay with him.

***

This morning I had a dream of him. It was an answer to my request that I made last night. He showed me what happened to him. One man wanted to be with him, but he turned him down as he didn’t want to be in a romantic relationship with anybody. The man got offended by being turned down. He asked his friends to attack my friend. When my friend came out from the store late at night alone, several men attacked him and brought him to the middle of nowhere and left him there. That was how he was killed. I saw the man’s face.

My friend is now back to the spirit world with his family spirits peacefully. He told me he doesn’t have hate the murderer. His family spirits were there at the moment he was beat up. They took his soul out from his physical body, so that the transition back to the spirit world for him was smooth and painless.

My friend wanted to let me know how he passed away, because he wanted me to know he didn’t commit suicide.

I sincerely appreciate for his friendship to me. He had been always nice and kind. He was an amazing friend. I met him in 1999. Since then, we had built our trust and friendship. He took me many places. He had many friends and introduced me to his friends. He took me to the ceremonies at Zuni, Jemez, and Zia reservations. He took me to different Navajo traditional healing ceremonies. He took me to NAC meetings many times. We went to watch a movie The Four Feathers (2002 film) at the theater. He let me stay a night at his and his mom’s house. We often went to swimming and sauna together. One time I was driving from Los Angeles to Gallup. We set the time to meet at the entrance of Walmart. I missed getting off the right exit from the Interstate freeway. I got off the next exit and got lost there. I finally arrived at our meeting place three hours later than we promised. But he was still waiting for me. He was not mad at me at all. He greeted with his calm and gentry smile and hugged me. I still remember the moment vividly.

We always enjoyed staying together. He had a wonderful smile, and I loved his smile. I miss him so much. I don’t know how I can express my appreciation to him. It is definitely beyond words. I thank you so much, my dear friend. I hope he has been enjoying his peaceful life in the safe place with his family spirits in the Spirit World.

Returned to home 4/24/2021

It was our departure day. It was just 3 nights and 4 days visit. Our days went by so quickly. When we hugged each other before leaving, everybody said something funny in a joking way so that we would not cry this time.

The driving on the way back was also good. The traffic was light and we could come back home sooner than usual.

Measuring the length of water pipe on homesite 4/23/2021

I woke up early in the morning. Navajoland is one hour ahead of my area. It was 5 a.m. in our time and 6 a.m. in Navajo land. I got ready and woke my family up. This morning we were planning to leave early to go to the local tool store in town. We wanted to ask the store if they can weld our cracked lift frame of the treadmill.

Our treadmill had two issues. One was the drive motor. This issue was fixed with the replacement drive motor. The other issue was a crack in the lift frame. This lift frame deals with the incline. Without the lift frame, we cannot use the incline function of the treadmill.

At the store we talked with one Navajo man. He said the store does not offer welding but he could do at his house as his private business. We agreed that he would weld after his work at his house and we would pick it up around 7 p.m.

After that, we went to a restaurant and had a brunch. Then we did some grocery shopping the store. When we came back home, it was already close to 3 p.m. After dinner, we measured the water pipe line from my in-laws’ house to our homesite. The temperature dropped down and it got windy. It was like a very cold winter weather so it was tough to work outside.

My in-laws showed us their brand new sweat lodge on their homesite. They just had the sweat lodge ceremony just one week ago. It was a very nice one made by cinder blocks on the base, cray on the side, and logs on the roof.

Around 7 p.m. we went to the worker’s house that we met at the tool store in the morning. Our lift frame was nicely welded and ready it pick it up. He welded on both corners and added reinforcing materials. He even repainted it. We were satisfied with his job.

It was another busy day. In Navajoland our days go quickly. Our visit was almost over. We will leave tomorrow.

Medicine plant to cleanse bloodline 4/22/2021

Our first night was tough for my daughter and me. My husband must have been still exhausted even after 5 hours deep asleep in the passengers’ seat while I was driving. His snore was loud and constant. He kept on tossing and turning. Every sound he made while he was sleeping prevented my daughter and me from sleeping. We finally fell asleep after 3 a.m.

When we woke up naturally without the help of an alarm clock, the Sun was already up. It was 7:30 a.m. My daughter and I didn’t have breakfast as usual. My in-laws and my husband had a big breakfast that my dad-in-law cooked. They had eggs, hams, onions, green bell peppers, and toasts.

We left the house around 9 p.m. to the medicine man’s house. The medicine man is a cousin of my dad-in-law. He has been our family medicine man. I have known him and his wife since 1999. The last time we saw them was at the Hozhoji ceremony for my husband in 2016.

When we arrived at their house, the gate was locked with a metal chain and a paddle lock. It had a sign saying they don’t allow any visitors at this moment. When we called, the wife came out and opened the gate. The Navajo people have a worse situation of Covid-19 infection rate and death rate, so it is understandable for them to take an extra caution.

My dad-in-law is planning to have a Hozhoji ceremony in this August, so he needed to make a detailed plan with him. Once we entered at their house, the wife started cooking egg. We were secretly hoping she was not cooking for us because we just ate. In Navajo traditions, whenever you have guests at your house, no matter they are unexpected guests, the house hosts are supposed to feed them something nice. So we all kind of knew it was for us. Sure enough, the medicine man, the husband told us to sit down at the dinner table. Soon all the plates and silverware were prepared for us and the wife started serving the brunch. It contained fried eggs, skillet potatoes, some vegetables, and toasts. Even though we all were full from breakfast at our house, and my daughter and I were not hungry at all, we all gratefully ate her food. It was nice of her.

While we were eating, we enjoyed our visit. The husband was 84 years old and the wife was 82 years old. They are around my parents’ age. Even though we were talking about something funny and laughing, I constantly wiping my tears off from the corner of my eyes. I didn’t know why I was shedding tears. My tears didn’t stop at all. I thought nobody noticed of my shedding tears, but my daughter noticed. She said it was understandable to become emotional because we missed each other a lot. And, considering of their age, I intuitively knew I would not be able to see them often. I knew I need to value every moment that I can see them.

When we were about to leave, the wife hugged me and told me she always includes me in her family prayer. She said she thinks of me as her daughter and wishes all the best for me all the time. I know she means it. It was very nice seeing them in person this time. We will see each other again in this August. I am looking forward to spending more time with them at the ceremony.

Our next destination was to get some medicine plant for me. The medicine plant is known among Navajos to cleanse the blood line. It can even heal cancer. As for me, I seriously want to reverse the diabetes. After my dad-in-law said his prayer in Navajo language, I prayed in Japanese to the medicine plant. I will make tea from this plant and drink it every morning and evening.

Our final stop was Canyon de Chelly National Monument. Unfortunately our favorite trail; White House Trail was closed. We could visit the Spider Rock Overlook. It has been 8 to 9 years from my last visit there. It was great to be able to visit there again with my family.

It was a busy day for us. I am thankful to reconnect with my Navajo family.

Trip to Navajoland 4/21/2021

We woke up early and left for Navajoland. My last visit was the beginning of September of last year, so it has been more than 7 months. I missed my in-laws and the energy of Navajoland very much.

My husband was exhausted from job, so I offered driving for a longer period than usual. He ended up being in a deep asleep for more than 5 hours in the passenger’s seat. I needed to drive the difficult driving area of the canyon areas. Thankfully though, the traffic was very light. I could drive safely and calmly during the canyon areas.

While driving, I received a phone call from the nurse. She happily reported my lab test results of yesterday. All the numbers of lipid panel and Hemoglobin A1C were greatly improved. I was happy for the improvements.

When we arrived at my in-laws’ house, they were waiting for us outside. Both of them shed tears while we were hugging each other. They both had a tough time in their health and hospitalized for the past 6 months. They both thought they might die from sickness before they see us again. We all got emotional and shed tears together. We were happy to see each other again.

They cooked mutton stew and fry bread for our dinner. We all enjoyed dinner together.

After dinner, the Sun was still out. We went to our homesite and greeted to the land. Our two pine trees are still there. They look healthy and keep growing tall. I am very happy to be back home.
