Enjoying alone time 10/21/2016

In my school days, I saw the majority of students tend to gather up. Whenever they needed to go to the bathroom, a group of 3-4 students gathered up and went there together. During the lunch time, they gathered up.

I was not like that. I know I am a weirdo. I remember I didn’t feel lonely whenever I was alone in my school days. I had some good friends and I was not spending time alone all the time. But once in a while, I needed my alone time. And I never felt lonely in my alone time.

I took my alone adventure when I was 11 years old. I attended a camp in another town where was far away from my house, all by myself. I never felt scared or lonely because I knew I could make many friends with new people there. Since then, I have enjoyed my alone adventure going here and there. I used to enjoy going to the theaters, museums, and aquariums, alone. I had enjoyed my alone trip within Japan and foreign counties.

When I go somewhere alone, I can attract the people whose energies fit to mine. That is the biggest reason why I love my alone adventure.

There are another benefits to take alone adventure. We can take our time in our favorite situations. When we see the beautiful sunrise, we can spend as much time as we want. When we watch a movie and feel like crying, we can do so without feeling embarrassed to our company. We can easily change our plan based on our gut feelings, without negotiating with our company. The bottom line is we can stay being ourselves in our alone adventure.

Let’s enjoy our alone adventures from time to time. We might find something unexpected and it will be fun.

Doing the scariest thing every day 10/20/2016

Today when attended the Ki-Gong class, the instructor introduced us two books. She showed us one page, and it says “do the scariest thing every day”. I don’t remember the book title, but the phrase was familiar to me. After I came back home, I found out that was the quote from Eleanor Roosevelt,

“Do one thing every day that scares you.”

This quote deeply resonated with me today. I thought about the scariest thing for me. At this moment, the scariest thing for me is definitely to advertise my services and myself. Posting my short article in my homepage is one that I feel scared. Posting my short video in my Facebook Page is another scary thing for me. However, through these my small efforts, I can show my services and myself to people through Internet.

The Ki-Gong instructor added her own advice.

You cannot fail anything unless you actually do it.

Yes, she is right. I started my small business with my pure desire to contribute to establishing the better world. My small services might help people to rediscover their true self and their life mission. If I make a mistake in doing something, then I can learn from the mistake.

Doing the scariest thing is much better than doing nothing. By breaking through our walls, we might see some unexpected opportunities or rewards. Let’s cherish our time every day. Our life on the planet Earth is short; way shorter than what we think.

The life with flowers 10/19/2016

Roses are my favorite flower. When I was living in Japan, I used to buy roses occasionally as a reward for myself. Roses are expensive in Japan so that I could not buy it often. I had wished to have my own rose bushes in my yard in the future so that I can enjoy the energy of roses every day.

When I moved to my current house, my old wish had come true naturally. In my current house, right next to our entrance door, we have red, yellow, and white roses in different sizes. Every morning when we leave the house, the roses see us off with their pretty faces. Every evening when we come back from school or work, the roses welcome us with their gentle fragrance. I feel really blessed.

I thought about the blessings from the land. And I noticed that each land has been offering their unique blessings to us.

I had lived my first 40 years in Japan. My residences in Japan were always within walking distance to the ocean and the beach. The last residence I bought had three windows that were facing to the ocean. Every day after I had a stressful day from the work, I would just open the window, watch the ocean surface, and listen to the sound of ocean waves. By doing so, I would recover my calm state. The ocean had been playing its role as my great natural medicine.

Now I moved to Arizona, and I am far away from the ocean. In the first several years, I had seriously missed the healing energy from the ocean.

But one of those days, I suddenly noticed I am surrounded by another types of the healing energy. They are from the plants in Arizona.

At the current house, we have a spacious yard where we have planted a variety of plants. We have an apple tree and a tree with lots of small green leaves. We have sage, mint, marigold, delphinium, lavender, margaret, and geranium.

I remember when I was visited my friend who had a spacious yard in my childhood, she would pick some green leaves and flowers from her yard and made it a small bouquet and gave it to me as a souvenir. I used to enjoy her small gift. Now I can do the same thing to my friends and share the natural energy with my friends, here in Arizona.

We tend to take it for granted that we have constantly been receiving the healing energy from nature. So, let’s show our appreciation to their existences.

Imagination skills 10/18/2016

In Japanese school, we had Moral Education class. In the class, the teacher taught us about the Moral. To me, Moral can be anything relates to sustain a positive and productive human relationship.

The teacher encouraged us to brush up our imagination skills. She said great imagination skills were the must skills when establishing good human relationships.

We performed many simulation lessons in the class. We read the books and listed up the main and sub characters, and thought about what if we were them, what we would feel, why we did this and that. Other times when we had a bully and being bullied situation, we thought about that from each involved person’s point of view. After we did that, we discussed about the alternatives on how they could improve the situations. These simulations were helpful to brush up our imagination skills.

Interesting enough, my daughter has a similar class as Moral education at her school. She is at the 1st grade. The teacher asked the students “what if” questions, such as What if there are only 2 swings and there are 3 students who want to play in the swing during the recess?

Some students answered they would run fast to get the swing first, while other students answered they would let other students play first, and wait for their turn. These are the major two options that everybody can reach. But in this option, one student has to wait for his/her turn. He/she might feel boring during waiting for their turn.

Then the teacher asked them if there are other alternative ways so that everybody can have a good time. With this question, the students thought about it, and they started sharing their alternative ideas. Their alternative ideas were going to the slide, or playing tag with everybody, so that nobody needs to wait for their turn. With these alternatives, everybody can enjoy their recess time. I thought this is a good idea to brush up the students’ imagination skills.

From my personal experiences, I feel reading the creation story is especially helpful to brush up our imagination skills. I know about Japanese creation story and Navajo creation story. I found it interesting because they have many similar messages in each creation story. Each episode of the creation story can be used as a teaching tool. When we think about the situation with using our imagination, we can learn lots of wisdom from doing so. When we fully utilize our imagination skills, we can feel as if the situation was happening to us in real, so that we can experience and feel the character’s emotion.

Dream activation 10/17/2016

I have a desire. It is to publish my books through Hay House.

About 1 week ago, I had a clear dream. My family and I were attending some type of celebration event of Hay House. I was the Hay House author. And I was awarded for something, maybe for my book.

This is still dream state, but I am happy that I have activated my desire at least in my dream.

This is a message for everybody. It is always good to keep our desire in our mind. Have a faith that it will happen in the real world.

My horoscope teacher once shared his story in his lecture. One of his friend wanted to have a house. The person kept on having clear visions of his dream house. The vision went in details such as the house size, the number of bed rooms, the direction of the entrance door, the size of yard, and even detailed information of the furniture. And soon enough, he found the dream house exactly how he visualized, and he could afford to buy it.

He was not special. He knew the technique to manifest the desire. The truth is that we all can use this technique.

When activating our desire, I cannot emphasize more on the importance of our ability in visualization. In order to visualize, we need to disciple our imagination skills as well.

So, it is how it goes.

Step 1: When we think something, think it very hard to the extent that we can visualize the situation in details.

Step 2: With using your imagination, add the detailed information to your visualized image. Add colors to it. Add feelings to it. Add the time frame to it (exactly when you want to activate it).

Step 3: Jump into your visualized image. Feel the happiness as if you already activate your desire.

Step 4: Tell yourself that you deserve to the happiness. Tell yourself firmly that you are powerful enough to activate it.

Step 5: Smile and let it be. Don’t forget to keep on feeding to your desire.

Life Turning Point 10/16/2016

When I was small, my grandfather read my horoscope chart and numerology. Based on the information, he told me that I would have two different types of lifestyles in this lifetime. My personal life is set to live the first half of life in Japan, and the second half of life in America, so it perfectly fits to my case.

I have also heard other elders were saying the similar things. They told me that everybody has a life turning point around the age of 40. I believe that is their wisdom that had been passed down to them from their elders, and they passed it down to me.

According to the elders’ wisdom, in the first half of our life, we tend to live our lives closely related to our parents’ expectations and the influence of the surrounding environment. We all are still pure and tend to listen to our parents, siblings, and school teachers. When we enter the latter half of our life, we start noticing that we don’t need to live our life based on others’ expectations. We will be able to honor our own feeling. We will become stronger to say No to something that we don’t need or we don’t agree with.

In my school days in Japan, I learned about the Analects of Confucius. Confucius (孔子) was a Chinese philosopher who had lived 2,500 years ago. He shared his wisdom in his latter part of his life.

子曰わく、吾十有五にして学に志す。三十にして立つ。四十にして惑わず。五十にして天命を知る。六十にして耳順(した)がう。七十にして心の欲する所に従って矩(のり)を踰()えず。

Confucius said, “At 15, I set my desire to learn. At 30, I stood on own two feet. At 40, I did not have doubts on my way. At 50, I understood my life mission. At 60, I could listen to other people’s opinions without prejudice. At 70, I could pursue my heart’s desire without being contrary to morals.”

Even the wise one who had lived before us took his time to understand his life mission and his own way. So, why should we learn quicker than the wise one? I think we can take our time to understand the meaning of our life and our life mission, right?

So, I would like to give small advice to the people who are still under their 40s. Some younger people think they are useless or they are not living their lives fully.

Please trust me; I was one of you guys. Before the age of 40, I had felt the same way as you do. In my personal life, after the age of 40, I have finally started walking my own path on my own two feet.

Of course the transition was not easy. For several years before and after the age of 40, I had gone through lots of changes in my emotion, feeling, and body along with the surrounding environment. This transition will turn out to be helpful, though. With going through tough situations in the transition, we will start seeing wider visions than before.

One more small advice. Enjoy every movement, because our life is a one way path.

Gratitude 10/15/2016

Every morning I pull an Angel card as a message of the day. This morning, when I opened the Angel card box, one card fall out. It was Gratitude card from Archangel Gabriel Oracle Cards deck by Doreen Virtue.

Then I put the card back to other card deck, and asked Angels to give me a message of the day. After shuffling the card deck many times, one card showed itself strongly, so I pulled the card. I started laughing. It was the same card, Gratitude card.

The card says

You attract more blessings when you appreciate your current blessings.”

Interestingly, this card was definitely the right one for today. My husband will be laid off for two weeks from now on, and I have been irritated for that. However, Angels are right. I should appreciate my current situation. We are all healthy and happy, communicating well to one another. My husband had been provided the temporary job for a while. I should appreciate what we have been provided.

This Angel card well reminded me to appreciate everything, so that we can attract another good luck and wonderful opportunities coming to us.

Today was full moon. When I saw the full moon on the Navajoland, I was filled with gratitude feelings. I decided to believe everything will turn out good.

Healing energy of the Navajoland 10/14/2016

In these couple of days, my family and I had felt a strong urge to go back to Navajoland. Even though we had only three days which is a tight schedule, we decided to take a quick trip back to Navajoland.

To me, Navajoland is very special. Once I enter the land, I feel as if I am being hugged by gentle Mother-like energy. I don’t need to make all the plan during the trip. All I need is just to feel the energy from the land and relax. The land has lots of Navajo sage that makes the entire land smells good. Gentle and calm fragrance.

My mother-in-law had lived on the Navajoland all her life. She likes to visit the city areas but always feels at home coming back to the Navajoland. She says enjoying the feel of Navajoland is a privilege for the people who live there. They can enjoy sun rise and sunset without any disturbance of the scenery. This kind of privilege used to be common for our ancestors. However, in our modern age, as our life has become convenient, most of us have moved and lived in the city where is away from the healthy nature.

My family and I had seriously started thinking about moving back to Navajoland. We don’t know exactly when, but it will happen soon.

On this trip, we visited the elementary school for our daughter. I had imagined that there are not many children in the Navajoland. So, I was surprised to know that they have 5 classes with more than 120 students on each grade. The receptionist told me there are many young Navajos coming back to the Navajoland from the city. I am happy to know that we are not the only one who have missed Navajoland so much.

A life road map 10/13/2016

I learned the Sabian symbol reading method from the Japanese teacher through his online class. His teaching is always fascinating. He combines his knowledge about horoscope chart reading and the spirituality. I haven’t met him in person, but I always appreciate him for sharing his deep understandings about the horoscope along with the spirituality.

Sabian symbols are the detailed reading method in a horoscope chart reading. Sabian symbols were created by the American astrologer Marc Edmund Jones with the help of the clairvoyant Elsie Wheeler. The twelve zodiac has 30 degree each, so that there are 360 Sabian symbols in altogether.

I’ve thought about my life up to today, and wrote down all my special events along with each Sabian Symbols of based on the Progress Sun’ sign and degree. It is so fascinating, so amazing, and so accurate. All of my actions, feelings, thoughts, along with the influence from the environments match to the energy of each Sabian symbol.

I strongly believe that a detailed horoscope chart reading with Sabian Symbols is a privilege for everybody. It tells the person’s tendency along with the environmental influence. It is like a road map. There are many different types of roads in life; there are smooth freeway roads, highways, and dirt roads with lots of bumpy obstacles. The road map tells the person’s tendency what kinds of roads to take. Sometimes we see the goal clearly but the road is closed for construction, so that we have to detour. It takes extra efforts to go forward, but we might run into something unexpected. It can be meeting with your teachers, students, or life partner. Or it can be new technique that we have never thought about it before.

From my experiences to read peoples’ horoscope charts, aka, life road map, old souls tend to take detour route and enjoy extra efforts and labors, whereas young souls tend to take straightforward and easy routes. It is all up to us. The choices are ours on how we live our lives; how we take our life roads.

Balance between Yin and Yang 10/12/2016

In my childhood, every time when I got small misfortune such as lightly injured, scratched, or catching a cold, elders would tell me “it is good to take a small misfortune to balance out.” What they meant was that the small misfortune had spared me to have a bigger misfortune. The bottom line is that the Universe always takes a balance between good luck and bad luck; Yin and Yang.

When things are not going well for a while, we can expect something good is going to come to us very soon. Since we already have gone through some tough and hard days, in order to balance out, there will be only room for easy and mellows days on the other side.

For example, after going through unemployed, breaking up with our boyfriend/girlfriend, being treated badly by our school teacher or supervisor, the next thing we can expect is to receive an unexpectedly great job offer, to meet a new person whom we feel strong connection with, or to be rewarded for our hard working contributions at our company.

On the other hand, when things have been going pretty well for a while, instead of waiting for some bad things, there are some technique for us to take. In order to balance out, we can donate some money to our favorite organizations, to give away thank-you gifts to our friends and family, or to offer our volunteer work to the local community. By doing these some help to others, we can avoid bad things to happen.

This is the wisdom that have been passed down from elders to us in order to live our daily life appreciatively. We appreciate for smaller injury or smaller sickness because they might have spared us for any other possible bigger troubles or unfortunates. We appreciate other people when they accept our small offers of gifts and donations because they have contributed to balance out our debt for our happiness.

In our daily life, we all have some type of rhythm going up and down. Let’s appreciate both ways; rainy days and sunny days, happy days and tough days. And please have a faith that everything has been evolving. Everything is supposed to turn out well in the end; even tough experiences, as long as we learn something from them.
