Coyote’s got his family 7/25/2021

I read two books Gift Horse: A Lakota Story and Coyote Christmas. The both books are written by S.D. Nelson. I like the Coyote Christmas. It was a folk tale that the author heard from his mom and his mom heard from her mom. This story made me happy that the trickster, Coyote, accidently without planning, gifted the great gifts to one family.

In our neighbor area, we have a coyote. He used to be always alone, but recently I saw him as a family of three. I am not sure if I am hallucinating or not, but I saw the male coyote walking with the other two. One was slightly smaller than him, looked like his wife, and the other one was much smaller than the other two, looked like their child. Even if it is a hallucination that a coyote is making me to see, it is fine with me. I am happy for this coyote anyway.

Moist day 7/24/2021

Today’s dream. I was with my mom and brother at my dad’s company. We were discussing something peacefully. Then my conscious jumped to another scene. I was served turkey at dinner table, but the turkey was still alive and healthy. The turkey looked like smiling at me. Then I woke up. I guess it was a good dream as turkey is considered as a sign of the abundance to come and seeing a turkey in a dream symbolizes prosperity. The dream interpretation dictionary also says a dreamer will solve some problems with the division of property.

It was one of the rare days in our area. We had rain all day long from the morning to the night. It was a quiet and peaceful day. I enjoyed this lovely day.

Male energy Monsoon 7/23/2021

We have been blessed with lots of rain in our area this year. While we had a dry monsoon last year, this year is a wet monsoon. Our okra started really growing strong.

Today was the last day of Summer School for my daughter. She made two very close friends at this school and they had been together for 7 weeks. The three of them are the same age and will be classmates if my daughter goes back to the public school. My daughter has chosen to continue homeschooling for this year, so they won’t see each other at school. They said they would miss each other and one girl shed tears. I am happy for my daughter to have built such a nice friendship with them. I will think about some plans that they will be able to have time together even after the school starts.

I read one book Black Elk’s Vision: A Lakota Story written by S.D. Nelson. I like the part where the author describes about heyokas; the holy and funny ones who make people laugh.

My favorite part is the author’s comment about the Lakota people. He says “We are not victims of a destiny forced upon us by others. Instead, we are the makers of our people’s future.” Cited from page 43 of Black Elk’s Vision: A Lakota Story.

I agree with him that we are responsible to make a better world for our future generation. I believe everybody should keep it in mind and be responsible on what we say and act, and even what we think. Because everything what we think, say, and act will impact the energy surrounded us and that will create our future.

My dad-in-law discharged 7/22/2021

Today’s dream. Interestingly I was visiting Japan for two days straight. My family and I were visiting my Japanese friend and her daughter. We were enjoying shopping at a huge store. All of their items were sophisticated and high-quality, but everything was in a reasonable price. My family had a male German Shepard as our family. After the shopping, I let him to do bathroom. Lots of amount of his pee accidentally got on my arm. I was not mad at him though. We all laughed about it. Then I woke up feeling comfortably.

My mom-in-law informed us that my dad-in-law was discharged from the hospital last evening. It was good news. But her voice did not sound pleasant. When he was discharged, he didn’t look healthy or strong at all. He looked weak and sick. She said having a Covid-19 patient at home is tough. My dad-in-law has been suffering from low oxygen level so that my mom-in-law keeps an eye on him of his oxygen level all the time. She needs to prepare three meals and do extra cleaning, and grocery shopping all by herself. While listening to her, I felt sorry for her.

She informed us another good news. Last evening one of my dad-in-law’s friends brought a new born puppy to their house. It was a tiny buckskin colored Chihuahua. They named the dog as Bucky. My dad-in-law thought it was a nice gift from Creator to celebrate his discharge from the hospital. My mom-in-law said it was like having two babies need to be taken care of, but her voice sounded like happy. I hope they will get back to their healthy and happy life soon.

Extra tooth 7/21/2021

I went to the dental office to have a dental cleaning. Since my husband didn’t have a full time job for the past one year, we could not have the dental insurance and thus, no dental cleaning for more than one year. I desperately needed one. Today I could finally have it. I was happy to see my favorite hygienist. I have had her cleaning treatment for several years now. We always start off a small conversation as we both are a mother of a young age daughter.

When her assistant was taking an X-ray picture of my mouth, she retook it several times on my left side. I was wondering about it. Later, the hygienist solved the mystery. When the dentist checked my teeth, he said everything looked good. I didn’t have any cavity and my gum looked healthy. Then the dentist turned back to the hygienist and kind of whispered to her that they would keep an eye on something. They were pointing something on their computer screen that showed my X-ray picture. After the dentist was gone, I asked the hygienist what they were talking about. She showed me the X-ray picture and pointed one area. She told me my X-ray shows that I have an extra tiny tooth inside the gum in the wisdom tooth area. I took out 4 of my wisdom teeth in order to have a braces in my younger days. I asked her how rare to have an extra tooth. She said it was not very rare. After I came back home, I did some research about an extra tooth for adults. It says 1 out of 40 people have it. I am glad to know I am not the very rare person to have it.

School update: The school sent three school textbooks for my daughter’s homeschooling. They are all thick and hard cover books. Luckily the three books look like brand new ones. They sent all the old and beat up textbooks last year. We expect to receive some more text books to arrive. The new school year is coming very close.

Today’s dream. I was with my brother in Japan. We were in the process of selling my parents’ house. This dream didn’t accompany with any emotions. I watched the process with neutral state of mind.

Reiki share gathering (2) 7/20/2021

In the late afternoon, I received a phone call from my mom-in-law. I had been busy with chores and didn’t noticed the phone’s ringing sound. She called me three times. When I returned her call, she answered the phone with a high pitch tone. She wanted to share the good news with me as soon as possible. Her Covid-19 test result came back as negative. She said it was miracle because she had been very closely staying with my dad-in-law who got infected. I am happy for her good news. I believe my dad-in-law will get well soon and be discharged from the hospital soon.

In the evening I attended the online Reiki sharing at 5 p.m. It was my second attendance in this gathering. There were 35 attendees.

It was good to see my Reiki teacher at the gathering. He came back from Russia and has been staying in a hotel room for two weeks in Tokyo as the government order.

He started off explained what happened to him in his last tour. While he was teaching Reiki in Moscow, he lost conscious. He was quickly sent to ER by an ambulance. There, the doctor diagnosed as a stroke. He had been hospitalized for 3 days, then he was discharged. The doctor didn’t know what happened to him, but he got all well and fully recovered from a stroke.

Even the doctor was confused and had a hard time to explain what happened to my teacher, as a Reiki practitioner, he has experienced many miracles all in his life, so it was not unusual for him. He said he truly appreciates everybody for sending him Reiki healing energy. He fully believes in Reiki that healed him.

He explains the Japanese culture. We put 「お」 or 「ご」 in front of some specific words as prefix and by doing so, we naturally show our respect to the certain word. For example, we say money in Japanese “O-kane” instead of “Kane.” “O-kaasan” and “O-tousan” are more polite way to say “Kaasan” or “Tousan.” We even say “O-toire” to respect “Toire (toilett).” So, for my Reiki teacher, since Reiki has been helping and supporting him all his life, he personally wants to call it “O-Reiki” instead of just saying “Reiki.” I totally agree with him. I will start saying Reiki as O-Reiki to show it my respect.

We performed Shuchu-Reiki, sending Reiki energy one by one to whomever needs healing energy. We had 9 people in the list. Two of them were my dad in Japan and my dad-in-law in Arizona that I asked the gathering host to include. While I was sending Reiki to my dad, I felt calm and gentle energy from him. I felt he is ready to depart to the spirit world anytime soon. While I was sending Reiki to my dad-in-law, I felt he was feeling and enjoying our Reiki energy in the hospital room as he is energy sensitive.

After sending Reiki healing to these 9 people, the host proceeded to Q&A session. My Reiki teacher answered the questions easily and naturally. I always impress him to be totally natural to him.

He said the chronical diseases may take some time to heal, but always trust Reiki works for the person at their highest goods. He also advised us to stop thinking; rather, surrender and smile. Follow our heart and intuition, and keep practicing. Focus on NOW and presence, which is tough for everybody.

He also shared what he learned about recent hospitalization. It reminded him the importance of keep maintaining his vital energy high, especially while traveling a foreign country. It also reminded him that everything is impermanent. He is not young anymore and needs extra caution on his physical body. He got a stroke and healed. Nothing stays the same. Everything keeps on changing its status. At the end, he gave us his advice that no matter what happens, do not worry and know everything goes well. I always enjoy his teaching.

Love myself with many different aspects 7/19/2021

Today’s meditation: My guide spirit appeared in a female figure. She was wearing a white simple dress. She gave me a gift of a mirror. This mirror symbolized to know myself. My guide spirit wants me to look into me frequently and find new findings in me. She doesn’t want me to look myself only appearance such as my skin condition or wrinkles. Rather she wants me to look me into deep inside as a soul level. She says I should look different every day and every minute. Because I have been evolving in a soul level, I should look better and better. And she wants me to love me and appreciate me for making efforts every day to improve my soul. She always feels proud of me staying positive and keep learning new things. I appreciate her encouragement and support to me.

At night we talked with my mom-in-law. She had a Covid-19 test at the hospital but the test result would come in tomorrow. Her voice sounded strong. She said she was feeling just fine, so we all believe her test result will come back as negative. My dad-in-law is doing fine. His appetite came back and he could enjoy eating food now. His doctor decided to keep him because his oxygen level is low. He might be able to be released from the hospital within a couple of more days.

I read a book Red Cloud: A Lakota Story of War and Surrender and Sitting Bull: Lakota Warrior and Defender of His People. The both books were written by S.D. Nelson. They are a picture book for children but contain lots of pages to read. The author is a Lakota man. I could feel his respect and love to his own people through his books.

Shocking news 7/18/2021

In the evening I received a phone call from my mom-in-law. As soon as I answered the phone and heard her voice, I instantly sensed her shocked and sad energy. She said she was trying to get hold of my husband but he didn’t pick up phone. I told her my husband was still in deep asleep exhausted from the previous day’s work. Then my mom-in-law started sharing the situation about my dad-in-law. One week ago both of them took their second shot of Covid-19 vaccine. My dad-in-law started feeling sick and stayed in bed without any appetite for three days. Today my mom-in-law took him to the hospital. There, the doctor admitted that my dad-in-law was tested as Covid-19 positive.

My mom-in-law was in shock. While she was telling this, she was weeping. The doctor told her to come back to the hospital tomorrow to have her the Covid-19 test. He will stay in the hospital and the doctor still don’t know how long he will stay in the hospital. She will have to do a self-quarantine for two weeks too.

I hope my dad-in-law will get well soon and be discharged from the hospital soon. Since he had the vaccine shots twice, his Covid-19 symptom should be mild as other people say.

At night my husband received a phone call from my dad-in-law. My husband put the phone on speaker so all of my family could hear his voice. My dad-in-law sounded strong and healthy. He said he just ate a turkey sandwich. He could taste it and enjoyed it. He sounded normal without an oxygen mask. We were all happy to hear his strong voice. He might be able to get discharged much sooner than we previously thought.

New guide spirit 7/17/2021

Today’s dream: I was at a party venue with my family spirits. In the physical realm, I don’t like being at a party venue, but here in Spirit World with my family spirits, I could fully enjoyed being at a party. They asked me to sit on a chair on the front stage. There were two chairs. A young female figure was sitting on the other seat next to me. She introduced me that she was nominated as my new guide spirit. She said her name is Chikako. It was very rare that my guide spirits told me their name. It never happened to me before. Anyway, it is very nice to have you Chikako-san as my new guide spirit. Thank you for your continuous love to me and support. I will do my best by living every minute fully till my very last day on this physical realm.

In the morning I was invited to the community garden. One of the members gave me a basil plant. I thankfully received it and replanted it in our garden bed. The soul of our garden bed was soft and moisten from recent constant rain. By noon our new basil plant already stood on its own and looked healthy. For lunch, I baked a homemade margarita pizza with the fresh basil leaves. It turned out wonderful. We all enjoyed it with the high vibration from fresh basil.

At night around 7 p.m., my dad called me. His voice sounded very strong and healthy. He seemed to be feeling lonely. He asked me when I can go back to Japan to visit him. I told him the situation where the Japanese government sets for visitors from America. As far as I know, upon entering from America to Japan, all the visitors are required (1) to submit a certificate of negative test result conducted within 72 hours prior to departing, (2) to pledge to refrain from using public transportation for 14 days, and to be in quarantine at home or other designated areas for 14 days, retain the location data, and provide it to the health centers or other institutions, (3) to sign and submit the Written Pledge. I told my dad about all the restrictions that I will go through if I visit japan at this time. He said he understood the situation and wait for things to be calmed down. I told my dad I probably won’t be able to visit japan within this year.

At night I watched a Japanese drama “人生最高の贈りもの (2021) Jinsei Saikou no Okurimono.” The main character was a young woman who happily married. One day she came back to her dad’s house all of a sudden without telling him the reason. The young woman was diagnosed as the terminal stage of cancer and wanted to spend some time with her dad. The story reminded me of my late mom suffered from cancer. Also it made me think of my dad. I wept almost all the time while I watched this show.

Mask mandate is back 7/16/2021

I went to the grocery store in the morning. The majority people in both workers and customers were not wearing a face mask. I was one of the rare people who were wearing a facial mask. I hope people will still wear a facial mask for our safety. The infection rate of Covid-19 has risen again. Los Angeles and Las Vegas have resumed the mask mandate regulation.

Today was a rainy day with dark clouds, lightning, and thunders almost all day long. My daughter felt dizzy from the morning and didn’t want to go to summer school. The swimming pool was closed due to the bad weather. It turned out good to have her at home safely. I would have worried if she had gone to school in this scary weather.
