Navajoland business plan meeting on zoom 10/15/2020

This evening my husband and I attended the zoom meeting with our new Navajo friends. Recently my dad-in-law talked about establishing a non-profit organization regarding teaching Navajo traditional way. He wants to start the business with these couple (they are cousins) and us. After we attended the previous meeting, my husband and I decided to opt out from this business opportunity. So I set up tonight’s zoom meeting so that we can explain the reasons of our opting out from this team without making any misunderstanding.

Our meeting went well. I was surprised that they still want us to be included in their business. We agreed to stay in this team, but we also work on our own small business.

Everything is still up in the air. I will leave it up to our family spirits and holy people.

Canyon hiking 10/15/2020

This morning my daughter shared her dream. She said I was in her dream and one of our (future) dogs peed on my face. She said it was great amount. When I heard it, I was happy. I knew this dream had a good meaning to me.

I was right. The dream interpretation dictionary says getting lots of amount of pee from a dog means a great fortune, especially in money.

My family and I went to canyon hiking this morning. The last time we visited this canyon was this February. After Covid-19 has spread, they closed the area. Recently I received a mass email announcement that they started open the area only to limited people such as volunteers and annual pass members since October 8th. My family and I had been waiting for their reopening the area.

The area was not changed at all. It was still peaceful and relaxing with nature.

This canyon hiking is one of my favorite places that I will definitely miss after we move to Navajoland.

Dream of a fig tree 10/14/2020

Today’s dream: I was with other people in the vast field. There were many trees. One of the trees was huge; tall and spread wide. It was a fig tree. One man taught me how to pick a fig from the tall branch. We ate the figs together. They were ripe and sweet. Then I woke up. According to the dream interpretation dictionary, a fig is a sign of excellent health, and prosperity. The dreamer will challenge something new that nobody has tried yet. Also the dreamer will be supported to gain spiritual gift

Awareness Basic class (6) 10/13/2020

I attended my sixth Awareness Basic class. As usual, the regular seven students attended.

Tonight’s guided meditation was a healing in the water fall. There, I saw my guide spirit as a silhouette. I could not see clearly, but I felt it was a female figure. She had a long hair up to her lower back. She was wearing a white kimono. The instructor told me she was probably Japanese Miko; Shinto priestess.

She gave me a light ball as a spiritual gift. She showed me a vision of a Japanese cartoon character Heidi in “アルプスの少女ハイジ.” She reacts to every event with her pure and innocent heart. My guide spirits wants me to be like her with a child’s pure heart, so that I can fully enjoy every event.

Today’s practice

(1) to read the energy of a picture of somebody in an envelope

I felt the person has already passed away, Japanese, and an elder female. I also felt growing vegetables in a garden, blue sky, and pickles.

The correct answer was it was a picture of the famous baseball player; Ichiro.

I was disappointed that I read the energy wrong, however, the instructor praised me that I read the energy correctly about being Japanese and blue sky.

(2) the instructor showed us two pictures; one was the church in England and the other was the temple in Japan, and she put one picture in an envelope and had us to read the energy.

I felt the picture was the temple in japan, but the correct answer was the church in England.

Again, I was disappointed that I could not read the energy correctly. But this instructor is always polite and thoughtful. She quickly took notes of each student’s answers and praises everything that they are right about.

I really like this instructor. I can feel her sincere encouragement and respect to each student. I am blessed to have met this instructor through this mediumship school. I sincerely respect her and wish her best luck in everything she desires. Thank you to my instructor from my heart.

Diabetic eye exam 10/13/2020

We just came back after the long hour drive from Navajoland last night. I slept very well.

Today’s dream: I was fighting with a huge pink snake and finally won the battle. I felt good. Then I woke up. I knew it was a good message.

***

In the morning I had a diabetic eye exam appointment at the eye clinic. Last time I had this exam was four years ago in 2016. The optometrist dilated my eyes and inspected for damage caused by retinopathy. He assured my eyes are still totally clean and healthy. I was happy that I am doing fine with my eyes.

Trip back home 10/12/2020

Today’s dream: I was at my parents’ house in Japan. I was with my late mom. I saw a new Buddhist memorial table inside the Buddhist altar. It was for my dad. Then I woke up.

I thought I experience one of my parallel world. There, my dad passed away before my mom, which was opposite from the reality where I am in right now. I miss my mom. I also miss my dad. I know I should call my dad often, but I am still feel scared of taking to him. I want to wait for my right timing to talk to him. I know it will come naturally.

Today my family and I drove 410 miles to get back to our house.

I always appreciate to see our house being safe and protected when I come back home from trip. As always, I thank my family spirits to protect us and our house safe. It was a very progressive visit this time.

Floor framing for our new shed 10/11/2020

Today we built a floor framing for our new shed. My dad-in-law thought it would be a quick task for a couple of hours, but it actually took much longer than he thought. Although we worked all day till the evening, we finished only one third of the task.

At night my husband was shocked to see how old his parents got. I completely understand what he means. I went through the same thing to my parents. Every time when I visited my parents in Japan, I would cry after our visit. It was shocking to see them getting old. I know it is an aging process and it is a natural process for everybody. I am not an exception. I am too in the process of aging. I gradually started having grey hair.

Now that I fully notice of the aging process, I would like to live my remainder years and days to the fullest. I would like to keep appreciating everything that constantly supports me to being alive. I would like to enjoy every moment in this physical lifetime.

Visit to our new friends’ Homesite 10/10/2020

Today’s dream: My family and I had a cow as our pet. The cow was huge and black. It looked totally healthy. Our cow was happily eating food. Then I woke up.

The dream interpretation dictionary says a cow is a symbol of great fortune, so that having cow as a pet means great fortune will come to the dreamer.

This morning my dad-in-law and my family visited our new friends’ Homesite. It was 40 minutes away from our house. At the entrance of their Homesite, a white hawk was perched on the entrance gate branch. We greeted to the hawk and thanked it for welcoming us.

Our new friends are a man and a woman who are 10 years older than I. At first I thought they are a boyfriend and a girlfriend, but they told me they are cousins. The Homesite used to belong to their grandfather, but nobody could take the land. So the two of them requested through the tribal court that they wanted to take over the land to be their Homesite. After some struggling events, they were officially approved to take care of the land. They invested lots of their labor and money to maintain the land. They now have a nice Hogan and two sweat lodges for male and female.

My dad-in-law offered some prayers and ceremony for their property. We also discussed about our business opportunity. It was a nice visit.

Jichinsai for our Homesite 10/9/2020

In the morning my husband and my dad-in-law went to town to return the rental devices. My daughter studied only for her school assignments, and I prepared for everybody’s lunch and dinner.

In the afternoon, we all went to our Homesite and had a Jichinsai (ground-breaking ceremony). We greeted to spirits who have lived in this land before us and asked their permission for us to live here. Also we asked their supports to live peacefully and safely together on this land.

We dug six holes. Four holes at the inside of four corners of our Homesite and my favorite tree and our new young pine corn. In each hole, we buried our offerings to the land and the spirits. The offerings were Bamboo Binchotan I brought back from Japan, sea salt, rice, water, and sake. My dad-in-law added Tádídíín (corn pollen.)

In the evening, I went back to our Homesite alone and offered some mantras to the land and land spirits. The mantras were 般若心経 (Heart Sutra) in Japanese, Srigurustotram, and Santi mantra in Sanskrit.
