Lessons from tough days 4/28/2017

I have heard many people saying that last year (the year of 2016) was the toughest one ever. I did have tough year in 2016. It was tough as a family, but not to me personally. I already went through my toughest one in 2002.

In 2002, everything I did went wrong or to the direction where I did not prefer. I completely lost confidence in myself. I lost interest in talking with anybody. I just wanted to stay home alone, doing nothing and talking nothing. However, in those days I was living alone. I needed to take care of myself. Regardless of my depression, I needed to go to work to earn money to pay off my bills. These days I shut off my heart to anybody. I seldom went to lunch or dinner with my friends. I hardly never talked on the phone with my friends.

I thought about how I could survive this tough year. During the tough days, I kept seeing myself as very strong in spirit. I kept telling myself about that. I kept having hope in the near future. During these days, I read my natal horoscope chart thoroughly. I wanted to reconnect with my soul. I wanted to know what my intention to come to this lifetime was. I also devoted lots of time to meditate. I wanted to see every tough events that happened to me, from a wider perspectives. Instead of focusing on each small events, seeing things in a bigger picture does help to see the future. That was how I survived my tough days.

I am sure that these tough days made me better and stronger than before. I don’t want to go through them again, but I appreciate these tough experiences. These tough events are now my good memories.

Sun water 4/27/2017

Recently I started making “sun water.” It has been two weeks as of today. I am enjoying it so much so that I want to share it with you.

To make sun water is not difficult at all. I put filtered water in a glass jar with a lid, and placed the glass jar in the sun.

Nowadays my day starts from going out to my back yard. I bring the water glass jar to my back yard, put it on a chair where it gets enough sun light.

Then, I sit down on a chair, put my bare foot on the ground. And I enjoy earthling as well as a short meditation. Usually only 5 to 10 minutes. Not very long. But very helpful for me.

I leave the water glass jar for about two hours in the sun. Sun water tastes milder than normal filtered water. If you love moon better than Sun, you can try this method on your favorite moon phase day. My sun water is a morning sun water.

If you are a full moon lover, do it on a full moon night. If you are a new moon lover, do it on a new moon night. Enjoy.

Natural medicine 4/26/2017

In my front yard, we have lots of roses; red, yellow, and white. In my back yard, we have lots of mints, thyme, and sage.

Nowadays I started noticing my gray hair here and there. I don’t want to use any unnecessary chemical in my body, so I am not going to use any kinds of commercially available hair dye products. Then, I thought about my herbs in my back yard. When I searched the information, a bunch of articles are talking about DIY hair dye using sage.

So, this morning, I went to the store and got an empty spray bottle. Then, I went to my back yard, stood in front of sage. I told them I would like to ask their permission and support to make my DIY hair dye using sage. Then I said Thank-You to the sage and picked some bunches.

I boiled the sage leaves with hot water for a while. During the process of making a hair dye with sage, my thoughts went back to my memories of my past lives. I strongly felt that I used to make natural medicines using herbs by communicating with natural kingdom. I enjoyed the nostalgic feeling for a while.

My entire house was filled with gentle flagrance. The articles say we cannot expect a sudden hair color change with a sage hair dye, but after some weeks, we will start noticing the change. It won’t dramatically change the hair color but works on boosting the good health in scalp and entire body. I will update the change in some weeks later.

Perceived age 4/25/2017

I found an interesting app “How Old Do I Look?” From curiosity, I checked about myself, my husband, and my daughter.

Three of us took the pictures at the exact same conditions; at the same time, under the same light condition, and at the same angle. We took two pictures each. The perceived age of my husband and my daughter from their two different pictures both showed the right on thier age; their actual age. We were amazed.

For me, I got the result of my perceived age from my two different pictures as 10 years younger than my real age.

I usually don’t mind on how people think of my age; on either I look older or younger than my real age. At least that is what I tell to people. However, when I saw these results of 10 years younger appearance than my real age, I could not stop putting a big smile on my face.

I guess I am the same as many other people. I feel happy when people see me younger than my real age. I already passed the turning point of my life. I want to keep appearing younger than my real age for my latter half of my life.

Benefits of deep breathing 4/24/2017

Today I want to share with you about one interesting synchronicity.

Yesterday when I was chatting with my friend, she concerned about her coworker whose mood swings a lot. My friend got stressed out with her coworker.

I instantly got a message for her. Maybe the message came from her guide spirits. I conveyed the message to her. It was about taking deep breathing. I mentioned to her about how important and how valuable to take a nice long deep breath before we express our feeling to others, either in an email or in face-to-face conversation.

This morning, I started reading some unread promotion emails from spiritual teachers. Interestingly, two of them mentioned about the importance of breathing and shared some technique of beneficial breathing for healing. I thought it interesting synchronicity. The people all over the world is getting the same message regarding the importance of breathing.

One spiritual teacher mentioned that we take it for granted about the importance of our lungs. I agree with her. We tend to take it for granted.

Yesterday in the Ki-Gong class, the instructor mentioned to give thanks to all our body parts. We gave the specific body parts a thank-you-kiss.

I thought about my lungs. In my early age, I used to have strong lungs. At the elementary school and the junior high school, when I had a lung capacity test at the psychical checkup, my result value used to be much higher than the average value. I think that is why I was good at long-distant swimming and a marathon. As I age, however, I have developed the habit of taking quick and shallow breaths.

I think a little daily effort to pay attention to our breathing will make a huge difference, not only to the strength in our lungs but also to our mental health.

Not alone 4/23/2017

My daughter told me about one of her friends. My daughter noticed that the friend often seems to be very happy playing alone. She even puts a big smile on her face when playing by herself.

The friend was in the same class with my daughter for these two years, so I have talked to her several times. She is not shy nor weird; rather, she is polite and pleasant.

My daughter was wondering why the friend can be happy by playing all by herself. She was wondering why the friend does not feel lonely by being alone.

I told her perhaps the friend has many invisible friends. They can be fairies, angels, or spirits. She won’t feel lonely because she knows she is always surrounded by invisible friends.

When I was small, I used to play with such invisible friends. So I know them pretty well. The invisible friends are fun to hang around. And they are very loyal and trustworthy.

Maple tree 4/22/2017

We have lived in our current house for three years. When we moved in, our back yard had only two trees. We made a flowerbed and put some good soil on it, and then planted some herbs. I watered them twice a day; in the morning and evening, every day. As the herbs grew, I noticed there were two tiny new buds on the ground next to the flowerbed. I didn’t know what they were, but I kept on watering the little buds along with the herbs.

Three years later, the little buds grew to maple trees. Very healthy looking. With bunch of flesh green maple leaves.

I was amazed on how nature takes care of the small lives. I still don’t know how the maple seeds landed on our backyard. I do see one big maple tree on our next door. Maybe the seeds flew from our next door. In any ways, it is amazing for maple seeds to grow to maple trees.

I am 5 feet 3 inch tall. And the maple trees are taller than me by 8 inches. Don’t you think it amazing?

I believe these maple trees want to come with us. When we move to Navajoland, I will take these trees with us, so that these trees can grow more with us.

Dream career 4/21/2017

Today I want to share my dream career along with my age.

When I was a kindergartener, my dream career as a wife/mother. At the age of 3 or 4, I clearly saw the future myself as a wife/mother of 2 children; a boy and a girl.

During the elementary school days, I was good at making people laugh, so I thought of my future career as a professional comedian. I was also good at the Tarot card reading and horoscope chart reading. I didn’t have to memorize the information. I was for sure I had been doing these reading in my past lives. So, I also thought about being a professional fortune teller and Tarot card reader. I was good at creating a fiction story, so I thought about publishing books for younger kids.

During the junior high school days, I thought about becoming a school teacher for the elementary school kids.

During the high school days, I thought about becoming an attorney. I wanted to save the people who suffer from being a victim for a certain tough situation. I wanted to be a spokesman for such people with the appropriate knowledge and wording. I actually took some entrance exams for the university to become an attorney, I failed the exams.

During the university and the graduate school days, since I majored in English linguistics, I wanted to become a professional translator/interpreter. I also thought about becoming a professor at the university to teach English.

Since I was a high school student, I have experienced many different jobs including part time jobs. I thought about those different jobs.

I didn’t enjoy working as a shop clerk, a restaurant/cafeteria waitress, and a staff member at a first food store.

I did enjoy working as a secretary, an office manager, an in-house/freelance translator/interpreter, and a freelance writer for short articles. This analysis of myself helps to get to know me.

So, today’s my small suggestion for you is to make time to analyze your dream career and actual jobs that you have experienced so far. I know you will enjoy getting to know you more. Have fun.

Magnetic attraction 4/20/2017

Life is full of mystery. Have you ever thought about any specific land or country that you are naturally attracted? I have several places. For some places, I am attracted and I had opportunities to visit the area. While for other places, although I am so attracted, I never had opportunities to visit the area on this life time.

One example is Okinawa. I had been so attracted on visiting Okinawa. I tried to visit there three times, however, something happened to prevent me going there. The first trip to Okinawa was cancelled due to my friend’s last minute cancellation. The second trip was canceled due to the bad weather caused by typhoon. The third trip was canceled due to my sudden tummy ache, which I went to the ER but the doctor could not find any cause of my sudden pain. At the third cancellation, I finally got it. I am not supposed to visit Okinawa on this lifetime, at least not in that timing. Now that I think about that, I am getting the feeling that I died in Okinawa at one of my past lives and I don’t have any mission left on that land on this lifetime.

On the other hand, I am attracted to America and ended up visiting there more than 20 times before I moved to America. Even after I went through some bad experiences in America and I have decided not to go there anymore, the opportunities for me to go to American kept on coming back, regardless of my desires or wishes. The desires or wishes were on my physical level. The true desires and wishes on my soul level, on the other hand, stubbornly kept on urging me to go to America. Now I know the reason. I am destined to live here in America.

So, my small suggestion for you today is to think about any places that you are so attracted. Have you visited the place so often? Or, you have not visited the place yet on this lifetime? Your feeling about the specific place might be a hint for your life mission on this lifetime or residual energy of your past life.

Tiny needle’s power 4/19/2017

I receive the rehabilitation therapy along with acupuncture session regularly. I am always amazed on how the therapists can help me on my stiffness of my left shoulder. Every time I go, my therapist has something new and different exercise for me to work on. And the exercises seem to be the right at the right timing for me.

Also, I am amazed how tiny and skinny needles at one spot can work on my entire body including internal organs. They for sure stimulate my Tsubo points (pressure points). As the real evidence, after I receive these rehabilitation therapy, I sweat all over my body, and interestingly, I get very hungry.

My therapist told me it might take up from six month to one year to completely heal. She emphasized it would heal as long as I keep exercising and stretching my body. And I thought it is also important to have my strong will to heal my body.

At last, I want to share one interesting synchronicity. Today’s message card that I picked from Angel cards was “You are on the right path.” I thought to myself, “Yep, I am working on it. And thank you Angels to watch over me.”
